Goal
This event is all about the Scrapbook/Memory component of the game...accumulating as many Unique Memories from 3 different household members — a Young Adult, Baby, and Pet.

General Challenge Rules
The General Challenge Rules always apply. If applicable, exceptions will be noted below.

Specific Challenge Rules

• Create 1 Young Adult Sim.
• No restrictions on Sims/Pets added to the household.
• Only 3 household members may be scored — your starting Young Adult Sim, one Sim that starts as a Baby and must never age up to a Young Adult, and one Pet. Note: If you do not have the Pets expansion you can still participate by simply scoring your two Sims.
• Your household is allowed a total of 18 days vacation — every household member’s total in their Adventure Journal counts against the 18 days if you travel to a WA world. Every day spent at University also counts against the 18 days.
• The challenge ends on Week 8, Day 7 11:59 PM.

Scoring

Sim #1. This is your starting Young Adult Sim. Open your Sim’s Scrapbook and note the Unique Memories stat for your score.

Sim #2. This is a Sim of your choice that starts as a Baby and must not age into the Young Adult stage. Open your Sim’s Scrapbook and note the Unique Memories stat for your score.

Pet. This is a Pet of your choice. Open your Pet’s Scrapbook and note the Unique Memories stat for your score.

Total — Add the 3 Unique Memories stats together for your Total.

Normally i have the memories completely turned off, lots of studies for this one then. But really nice idear.

I just wanted to highlight the ending time for this one — it's 8 weeks and not 12. Usually the longer of the 2 challenges is 12 weeks, but not in this case.

So Sim #2 gets to age up to a teen as long as they started out as a baby? So it's not just memories from the baby stage?

So long as Sim 2 does not age up to young adult.So baby toddler chlid and teen stage  are all fine.

I would say no as the rules say you have to get as many unique memories as you can from your two Sims and pet.
Rica and Metro will correct me if I am wrong.

Yes they can actually. There's no way we're requiring you to write down hundreds of memories to keep them all straight between your household members. The important thing is each Sim's Unique Memories stat in the scrapbook.

University Life comes out early in March. Will time spent at university be counted as vacation, or will our sims in this challenge have to remain uneducated?

We don't know how its going to work so if you plan on getting University, I would suggest you wait to start any of your official files until after we've had time to play them.    As with all expansions, there could be issues with updating and the patch that comes with it.  Not to mention no matter how many times they show you how it works in a live chat, actually playing it is always different.

     I'm really excited about this challenge.  It will be fun to try everything in the game while trying to make memories.  It may still be a rushed experience but I think it will have more variety than other challenges.  It's great how the strategies and things players learn while competing in the challenges help to make the information on the forum better and more complete.

  Pets is the one expansion I don't have. Since my husband has started going all Linda Blair on me each time he finds me playing, I don't see myself getting it in time for this challenge. This challenge does seem very interesting though.
