Congratulations to everyone who submitted a score!
I have to say this challenge was tough because it didn't seem to matter how many corners of the internet I looked there wasn't really a good list of memories out there so I read forum threads about memories people had seen but most of them just talked about how they had turned off notifications.
After some serious testing, I made up a spreadsheet of things to go for and try. I turned down every single graphics option there was and loaded up Union Cove since it has everything. I had my female Sim get married to a celebrity within 48 hours. By the time the marriage was over, she was a 5 star celebrity and so was he. She was also pregnant. I made sure to do every step that came with Generations by having a bachelor party and asking sims to toast. Sprayed every guest with nectar. From there I made sure the founder had triplets. This way between the husband and the extra kids I was able to experiment with different skills and activities while working on the two sims. About halfway through the challenge I got the ability to adopt the unicorn so went for it. That's when I figured out that unicorns come with more memories because of their abilities.
The real challenge was finding enough for the teenager since the mom was able to Woohoo in several locations that the teen never could. Not to mention doing certain careers. Although for the most part my memory maker stayed at home making memories instead of working. It wasn't until the last two weeks I even thought about it.
One of the keys to most of my success was using potions to stay happy & awake. Dried food and shower cans to be clean and fed plus all the LTRs to reduce the frequency of such events. Not to mention the motive mobile and a moodlet manager. Sometimes I was too busy to mess with them so the potions and everything really served as a quick backup I could add to the queues.
I can't think of anything else right now but I want to include my spreadsheet. As I was doing it, I placed X's everywhere but I changed it to 1's to link it. I also removed all the ones that I didn't get to finish. At one point, the spreadsheet was somewhere near 410 rows long. Keeping organized with it meant that I could change the color of the lines that were complete and get a quick visual or ones left to get that I already knew about.
