I pmed a question to the three of you a few days back regarding this challenge. I haven't heard back from you yet. I just wanted to check that you did receive the PM from me.

One additional restriction:

• No restrictions on pets coming into or leaving the household but you cannot start with a pet.

Another new ruleset change.


The previous rule of

• Gnomes available in buy mode are banned.

is now:

• Players are not allowed to purchase gnomes with simoleons.

So if you have to use simoleons to get a gnome(buy it) - it's not allowed.

Sigh. There were only a few that you could get from the consignment shop, and the other methods are very unreliable. I would have thought that knowing which ones they were would have been part of the strategy.

Metro says being able to walk into the consignment shop and pick up a gnome is too easy.  This is a challenge.

So, I started with a witch, and the max number of pets... and I was definitely hoping for some of the trickier ones from the consignment store (troglodyte (sp??), maybe the inventing/sculpting ones...) Thanks Metro!!!  Back to the drawing board...

Fair enough. My original idea did stipulate not buying the gnomes It wasn't until I started practising that I found that it could take a very long time to get them all though.
