Well that answers that then. They have to be magic gnomes then?

Just checking Rica, all other methods of obtaining a gnome is fine so long as we don't purchase them via buy mode.

Clarification, please:

Buy mode gnomes are banned to give, or are banned to have at all?

I'm asking because the Three Stray Gnomes in buy mode are ones I always buy just to keep strays moving off my lot (usually in that tiny little basement section at the far corner of the lot so said strays can't use them for bladder relief).

Gogo - removed post because of possible strategy talk

Shirin - they are banned for giving.  They don't count towards the unique gnomes that you can get for RIs.

Rachel - Yes any other way is fine but the ones that you can get from buy mode.  As in if they are available in buy mode then they don't count as an option for one of the scoring gnomes.

Gnome Sweet Gnome.

Gnome, Gnome on the Range.

I'll stop right there, I think, except to say, I'll try this one as well.

I'm a little confused. Is there a specific number of gnomes/RI's required, or is it completely our choice?

When you decide to stop playing the file or you run out of time - you submit a score showing each of the components.   When you choose to stop is your strategy for this challenge.

Do gnome ages (teen, etc.) count as unique gnomes, or are they all considered Mysterious Mister Gnome?

Just wondering, why is the inappropriate trait banned?

Not trying to talk about strategy here as that's not my intention at all. But those weird dog like things that happen to pop up around your house - are those considered gnomes? Sorry, just a little but confused as to what exactly a gnome is considered to be.

Thanks

Yes.

I'm so glad we could do the magic gnomes idea. This is lots of fun!
