You are forgiven, Simstar. Be sure that this never reoccurs ;D

This is UNACCEPTABLE Simstar. How dare you go visit your grandparents and not slave away on a story for us.
Okay, I'm kind of just kidding. (I figured since everyone else italicized a word or two I must also xD)
I'm on spring break so I'll be around all week just waiting for it!

We haven't had a holiday since the 5th of January, though. Also, we only get the 1st July-18th August for our summer holidays (actually, most people do, but I will get a bit longer because I need to visit relatives). On average, Scottish schools only get a few weeks longer than English/Welsh schools. I know, I only moved up here in September  :)

I felt I needed to explain that, but can someone save us from off-topicness? Lol :P

Chapter Twenty Six

P.O.V: Heather

Heather and Zachary were sitting at their dining room table, eating a dinner of hamburgers Heather had cooked. They had been living together for about a month, and loved each other more than anything. Currently, they were discussing the news.
"Did you hear about the meteor that hit the school a few days ago?" Zachary asked, putting down his burger.
Heather nodded. "Yeah. Tons of people were killed, and they say it's going to take a long time to repair."
"I'm not surprised. They made huge holes in the roofs, and a ton of craters. Not to mention destroying desks and books, and setting them on fire.
"Mmm-hmm." Heather took another bite out of her burger, and they ate in a comfortable silence for a while.
Zachary looked up. "Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask you. Why've you been dressing differently lately?" He gestured to the purple checked T shirt she was wearing over a long sleeve dark purple shirt, as well as the dark blue skinny jeans.
"My other clothes don't fit very well anymore." She answered.
"Why, are you too heavy for them?"
Heather stuck her tongue out playfully at her husband. "My weight is fine, thank you very much. I'm just pregnant."
Oh, okay." Zachary said, taking a sip of his juice.
      Ten minutes later....
     "What, what?!"
"Took you long enough." Heather said, looking away from the clock on their stove. "For someone with an IQ of 200, you sure do catch on slowly."
"You're really going to have a baby?" He asked, incredulously.
     "Yup. Are you happy?"
"Happy? I'm thrilled!" He placed a hand on Heather's stomach. "I've always wanted to be a father!"
Heather smiled. "Well, luckily we have the whole upstairs to furnish. I want this baby to have the best room possible!"
"Well, we could go to the baby store later this week, if you want."
     "Sure! That sounds great!"
     Time skip...
As they drove back from the store, Heather pulled out her cell phone and dialed Violet's number. She answered on the second ring.
"Hello?" There was a lot of background noise; people talking, loud dance music, glass smashing, and many other noises Heather couldn't even even identify.
"Hi, Violet, It's Heather. What's all that noise?"
"Oh, hey! I'm at the Plasma 501 right now, it's awesome!"
"That explains it. I thought that was an exclusive club." Heather had often read stories in tabloids saying that all kinds of people had tried -and failed -to get into it."
"Well, I'm on the list. I'm actually getting pretty well known around Bridgeport! What'd you want to tell me, anyway?"
"Oh, yeah, I'm pregnant! You're gonna be an aunt!"
Her sister squealed loudly into the phone. "NO WAY! That's awesome!"
"I know, I can hardly believe it myself!"
Heather and Violet talked the rest of the way home, and Violet promised to call the rest of their sisters and tell them the good news.
      Time skip...
Several months later, as Heather was reaching the end of her pregnancy, she and Zachary were cuddling on the living room sofa, watching a documentary about llamas. Suddenly, Heather stood up with a sharp gasp.
Zachary looked at her, his bright green eyes wide with alarm. "Heather? What's wrong?"
"The labors' staring!" Heather half screamed, half wailed. She had seen this happen to her mother three times, and it had looked extremely painful. But she had never imagined it would hurt this much.
This labor scene has been skipped. Your argument is invalid.
Heather's labor had been hard and painful, but the pain was a distant memory now as she held her baby girl in her arms. Her very own, beautiful daughter. Olive Churchill.

Chapter Notes:

* Olive is the CUTEST thing ever! I can't wait to post pictures! ;D
* Sorry this chapter's so short... :(
* I also want to show ou their house, I built it myself. I think it looks pretty good! ;D
* Anyone see the Meteor Falls reference here? ;) (Kinda hard not to, I made it painfully obvious.) ::)
* I'll start the next chapter in a little bit, but first I'm going to play Pokémon Black eat lunch. *Shifty eyes*
* Oh, and Heather mentioning Zach's I.Q is a reference to his genius trait.
* ...Hey, wait a minute! I never told you guys his traits! I'll post them later. :)
* Tell me what you think of this chapter! Pwease? :3
