Awesome chapter, Simstar! Though, yes, I would like a bit more of that brill writing! ;D
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

I'm guessing that since Esther's very cool, being called an Aunt makes her feel uncool.

Chapter Thirty-Two

Olive was sitting on the airplane heading to France, and reading her book called "How to Survive Boring Airplane Rides: Child Edition".
"Tip number thirty-two: Contemplate a difficult riddle." Olive read aloud from her book. "Sounds like a good idea." She sat up and turned around in her seat to face her parents, who were siting behind her. "Hey daaaaaad! Ask me a riddle!"
Zachary looked up from his book. "Okay, how about... 'Runs smoother than any rhyme, loves to fall but cannot climb.' What is it?"
      "..."
      "..."
      "..."
"I have no idea." Olive turned back around in her chair, and picked up the book. "Okay, thirty-three: move around. I can work with this."
She loosened her seatbelt and moved around so that her head was on the floor of the airplane, and her feet went just above the back of the seat. "Hey, this is a pretty good tip!"
"Olive, sit straight!" Heather snapped. "That's not allowed."
"I'm TRYING to survive a long airplane flight! This is what it said in the book!"
"The book didn't mean move around THAT much. Now sit straight."
      "Fine..."
      Time skip...
      "Are we there yet?"
"No, we have two more hours to go. Be patient."
      "But being patient is hard!"
"It'll be worth it when we get to France." Heather promised, picking up her book.
Olive grabbed her backpack from under the seat in front of her, and rummaged through it's contents. "Lesse... read all the books I brought... can't think of anything to write of draw..." She looked up at the movie screen, showing a police officer swinging out of an exploding building on a chain, holding a woman in his other arm. "Movie's no good... Ooh, my SimPod! Haven't used this yet! She put the earbuds on, and started blasting "Make my Heart" at full volume.
      Time skip... Again...
"Nous arrivons maintenant dans Cham Les Sims, La France. Veuillez prendre votre bagage au carrousel de bagages, et ayez un beau jour!
We are now arriving in Cham les Sims, France. Please pick up your luggage at the Baggage Carousel, and have a nice day!

Upon hearing the Co-Pilots announcement, Olive yanked the earbuds out of her ears, and quickly began putting everything back in her backpack. She then turned around in her seat to face her parents again.
"Are we lading? Are we in France?"
Heather smiled. "Yes, we are. After this we need to rent a car, then we can drive to the hotel."
"How long will it take to rent a car?" Olive was eager to get to the hotel already so she could relax and unwind after the plane ride.
      "About a half hour."
      "Rrrrrrggggh!"
Time skip... For the third dang time...
"There it is! I see it!" Olive pointed to her purple suitcase, slowly moving along the baggage carousel. "I'll get it, you guys wait here."
"Do you want me to help, Ol? It looks pretty heavy..." Zach asked, giving his daughter a concerned look.
"No, I can do it!" Olive grinned, and tuned and ran over to the carousel. She grabbed the handle and pulled. Urk... Dad was right, this is heavy. Olive gave a huge pull, and toppled over backwards. Seconds later, the suitcase landed on her. "Ow!"
"...Are you sure you don't need help, Olive?"
      "I'm okay, I'm okay!"
      Time skip... AGAIN...
By the time the Churchills got their luggage, rented the car, and it was past 10 p.m at night. As they checked in, Olive sleepily looked out the window, but could only distinguish a few shapes in the darkness. She plodded upstairs after her parents, took her room key from them, and entered her hotel room. Too tired to admire her well decorated room, Olive simply put on her pajamas and collapsed into her bed.
I'm finally in France... Was Olive's last thought before sleep crashed over her like a black wave.

Chapter Notes:
* Guess who'd out of E-Tirement? Me! ;D
* I'm sorry this story was on hiatus for so long. I had a ton of ideas, but when it came to writing them down, I just couldn't. :( I wish there was a way to transfer your thoughts directly to a computer.
* The France storyline will probably be about two or three more chapters long. :-\
* Anyone know the answer to Zach's riddle?
* I always imagine the SimPod looking like an iPod, except a plumbob instead of an apple.
* Do you guys think I should put Olive on the Swap Shop?
* It's 4 IN THE DANG MORNING RIGHT NOW! GAAAAH! I stay up way to late writing these things. :o
* Tell me what you think of this chapter! Pwease? :3
