After reading a notification that all postimage.org thumbnails would vanish soon, I replaced all the early pictures I posted before I got an account on the gallery. Enjoy~! ;D
Now to start on the next chapter. It'll be a two or three part series. :)
However, it's 10:30 at night right now, and I'm tired as heck. So either I finish the chapter, or I pass out on my keyboard. One of the two.

Chapter Twenty Seven

P.O.V: New Generation Churchills

Esther, Kate and Shikeriah were in their bedroom, working on their history essays. Because Amanda and Raymond didn't know when their time would be up, they had arranged to homeschool their daughters. However, they had made it quite clear that they would be expected to work hard, and that they would have homework. Their current assignment was to choose and research a famous person from ancient history. Esther had chosen Admiral Landgraab l, and was having immense trouble finishing her essay.
"This is just stupid!" She complained, slamming her notebook shut and siting up on her bed. "What do I even care about a bunch of dead old people?"
"You don't need to care, you just need to write an essay about them." Kate said, looking up from Point Farmers: The Story of Grant Rodeik.
      "Both which are equally impossible."
"It can't be that hard. What do you have so far?"
Grumbling, Esther flipped open her notebook and read aloud, "Ahem. Admiral Landgraab lived in Champs Les Sims around 120 years ago. Landgraab took credit for the invention of the delicious nectar beverage, along with Anastasia Necteaux, and was easily believed due to his massive and impressive estate. At some point in his life, according to Landgraab's groundskeeper, he sent his men to kill Anastasia Necteaux, possibly to take all the credit of creating nectar. However the woman was rescued by a man named James Vaughan. Later in his life, he wanted to learn about an ancestor of Anastasia so ventured to a tomb with his men. They asked Necteaux for directions, but she pointed them in the wrong direction, and were never seen again; contradicting previous statements that he was killed by natives. However, Landgraab's remains are rumored to be found somewhere in Chateau du Landgraab, his enormous mansion, so his body must have been recovered at some point."
"Well, why don't you write about his house?" Shikeriah suggested, dotting the final period on her essay about Anastasia Necteaux.
"Good idea." With a sigh, Esther heaved her history textbook out of one of the drawers on her bed, and flipped it open to Admiral Landgraab l.
      Time skip...
"Okay, how's this? Chateau du Landgraab was located in Champs Les Sims, and is a poplar place for both french and foreign adventurers to explore. It includes two double-bed bedrooms, a bedroom with two single beds, a baby room, several bathrooms, a private study, fireplace, kitchen, dining room, private library, groundskeeper shack and more. As it had a baby room and two single beds, it is possible that he had children.
Admiral Landgraab was a worrywart obsessed with military code, so his tomb is "shut tighter than Napoleon's tomb," according to local historians such as Francois Lambert. It is riddled with dangerous fire and lightning traps, that are almost impossible to disarm."
"That sounds good." Kate said, closing her book. "I guess we're all done"
"I guess so. I don't get how you managed to finish yours so early. Who'd you do it on, anyway?"
Kate flopped back on her bed, gazing up at the ceiling. "This stuff is easy for me, and I didn't put it off until two hours before the due date like you did. As for who, I did it on Dong Huo."
      "Who?"
Kate sighed, and fished her notebook out from under her bed. She cleared her throat and read, "Dong Huo was a very influential person who lived in Shang Simla some time ago. He was a ruthless, despised tyrant who is mostly known for "stealing" valuable relics from the other people, whose descendants now ask these relics back. His treasures are rumored to be hidden in a tomb beneath the Shang Simla Market. He is believed to be part of the 'Prophecy of the Dragon Cave'. It thought that Dong Huo was eventually sealed in The Dragon's Maw by James Vaughan, and the keystone was brought to Champs Les Sims, France. However, Vaughan seems to have not completely succeeded to lock Dong Huo, and a prophecy states that only one person, a high-level tournament-winning martial artist, could defeat him forever.
Many believe he still seeks revenge, returning to the mortal plane as a half-dead mummy. Deep inside The Dragon's Maw is his sarcophagus. The chosen one of the prophecy must fight his mummy and defeat it in order to vanquish him once and for all."
"Wow, that was good. A whole lot better than mine."
      Kate grinned. "Thanks."
"But that whole prophecy thing is a bunch of garbage." Shikeriah said quietly, putting the cap back on her pen. "They don't exist."
Kate shrugged. "Whatever. Works for me."
They heard Amanda calling them from the kitchen. "Girls! Come down and bring your essays."
"Coming!" Esther shouted. All three sisters grabbed their notebooks and hurried down the stairs.
Amanda, Raymond, Dale and Bailey were sitting at the kitchen table. As Esther sat down, she noticed that Bailey's skin seemed paler than usual, and her black her hung lankly in front of her face. Shikeriah took Kate and Esther's essays, and handed them to Raymond.
"Thanks, sweetie." Raymond said, then cleared his throat. "Okay, I have an announcement to make. We're going on vacation!"
All five of the Churchill girls looked up in excitement, even Bailey. "Where? Where?"
      "Egypt."
The brief flash of excitement in Bailey's purple eyes vanished, and she hung her head. "Oh."
Esther gazed at her sister, concerned. "Bailey?"
"I'm not going." Bailey said quietly.
Everyone at the table looked at her in shock. "What?"
"Why not?" Dale asked, looking surprised.
"There's mummies in Egypt, that curse you. If they do, you turn to dust after two weeks. I'm not going."
Kate sighed in exasperation. "Bay, mummies only come out if you go into pyramids and bother them! They're not gonna walk for twenty five miles just to come curse you!"
"That's not true! I've been having nightmares every night, always the same thing! I'm in Egypt, and suddenly the sky goes dark. When I turn around, there's a mummy behind me, and it shoots a yellow have out of it's eyes that covers everything. Then everyone around me starts crumbling into dust, until I'm the only one left. The mummy reaches for me, then it all goes black and I wake up. I'm not going. I'm not going!" Bailey was shaking, and her eyes were squeezed shut. Tears were pouring down her cheeks.
Kate looked indignantly at her sister. "But that's-"
She stopped when Dale shot her a look that clearly meant shut up!
Amanda reached out and hugged her trembling daughter. "It's all right, Bailey, we won't force you to go."
Bailey wiped tears from her eyes. "Thank you."
Raymond patted her on the arm. "Why don't you stay with Heather? She's the one I told you about- the artist. She's got a daughter your age, so you'll be able to play with her."
       She nodded. "Okay."
Their flight was set to leave at 6:00 a.m in a week, so all they could do was wait in anticipation.
       Time skip...
It was finally the day of their flight. Everyone was packed and dressed, and were all piled into the car. Before going to the airport, they were going to drop Bailey off at Heather's house.
"G'bye!" Esther called, as Bailey stepped out of the car, and onto the sidewalk in front of Heather's house. "Have a good week!"
"Bye!" Shikeriah smiled, waving to her sister.
"Good-Bye!" Dale said. "We'll bring back lots of souvenirs!"
"I'll be sure to write!" Kate told her with a grin. "Bye-Bye!"
"Have fun, sweetie!" Raymond called, as Amanda leaned out and kissed Bailey on the top of the head.
Bailey waved goodbye, and headed towards the house. The last Esther saw of her sister was her running up the steps of the front porch.
       Time skip...
After enduring food court lines, gift shops, airport security, and all-around waiting, they Churchills were finally on the plane, ready to take off. They could barely contain their excitement as it took off into the air, carrying the to Al Simhara, Egypt.

Chapter Notes:
* So I didn't pass out, but I feel like I'm about to. I'll just get the Chapter Notes done, and get some much-needed sleep.
* Bailey really didn't come to Egypt, because it was hard enough to handle six sims in Egypt at one.
* I got the information on Admiral Landgraab, Anastasia Necteaux, and Dong Hou from the sims wiki I copied most of the information, and made a few changes.
* Kate being able to finish her essay so quickly is because of her Genius trait.
* I probably made a bunch of Grammar and Spelling mistakes. Let me know if you see any. :-\
* By saying "The last Esther saw of her sister was her running up the steps of the front porch" does not mean that it was the last time Esther ever say Bailey. It just means she lost sight of her when the car drove away. Bailey is not dead.
* Sorry for the lack of chapter notes... :(
* Tell me what you think of this chapter! Pwease? :3
