Author's Note: At the start of this chapter, Violet is a child. I'm sick of wasting time writing about birthdays. Chapter Seventeen Life was quiet for the Churchills. Violet had grown up into a self-sufficient child a few days ago, so there was no more waking up at midnight to feed and snuggle her. Currently, Heather was playing guitar, with Rose accompanying her on her drum set. Lily was flopped on her bed reading
Theoretical Physics for Your Hyperactive Child, and Daisy was playing chess with Raymond. Violet was reading her favorite book,
The Warlock of Palladia, but she could barely read one page without looking anxiously up from her book to see if Amanda had returned from her shopping trip, where she was buying Violet's belated birthday present.
"Vi, will you please sit
still!" Lily scolded her. "Mom's not gonna be back for a while."
"Fiiiiine.." Violet sighed, and looked down at her book. Suddenly, a flash of rainbow light illuminated the basement Even though they had a teleporter pad, Amanda still preferred to get out by Zeneporting.
Old habits die hard, I suppose. Heather thought, putting down her guitar and walking over to Amanda and Violet. Violet was peeking into Amanda's shopping bag, and soon pulled out a wrapped box. Violet instantly shredded the paper, revealing a box.
"Oh, wow! A dollhouse!" Violet exclaimed, looking at the picture and name on the front of the box. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome, sweetie. Do you need help setting it up?"
Violet shook her head. "No thanks, I can manage." She bounded over to the corner of the basement, where the blocks table and the Chess set were kept, and took the house and furniture out. She set up the rooms, and instantly began to play with the dolls.
Time skip... Violet loved her dollhouse, and played with it all day. Her favorite thing to do was use the dolls to act out scenes from her favorite books. Currently, she was doing a scene from
The Warlock of Palladia One of her dolls had a cape and a crown who was supposed to be the king, and the other one was wearing an ugly brown outfit, who was a lowly peasant who hadn't been paying taxes. Since
The Warlock of Palladia was intended for kids, though, the whose scene was pretty weird and unrealistic.
Violet whacked the peasant doll with the king doll. "I bequeath thee!" she shouted, pretending to be the king. She whacked the peasant doll again. "I bequeath thee!" And again. "I bequeath thee!" She waved the king doll in the air, before whacking the two dolls together again. "Out of my sight, peasant!" With that, she flung the peasant doll across the room. It hit the wall, barely missing Lily, and fell to the floor.
She ran over to it, only to find that its head had come off. She snatched them off the floor, and looked up at Heather, her big blue eyes filled with tears. "Heather.. the doll broke... C-can you fix it?"
Heather sighed, and put down her book. "Bring it over here, Vi. I'll see what I can do." Her sister walked over, and set the two pieces on her bed. Heather picked them up, and was able to reattach the head. "Here you go. Maybe you should stop throwing it al the wall all the time, so it doesn't break."
"But that's what happens in the book!" Violet protested.
"Well, act out a scene that doesn't involve physical violence."
"Fine, fine." Violet scooped up the doll, and walked back to her dollhouse.
Heather yawned, and then got up and walked over to the teleportation pad.
"Where're you going" Daisy asked, without looking up from her chess game..
"Outside. I'm bored." Heather responded.
"Have fun, sweetie!" Raymond called as she climbed onto the teleporter.
"Sure." Heather pressed the button for Crystal Springs, and vanished in a burst of orange light.

Chapter Notes:
*This is a special chapter! ^^ Know why? Because the next chapter will take place directly after this one! All the other chapters have one or two week intervals between them. (Okay, so three, two and four, along with thirteen and fourteen are exceptions.)
* Pictures of Violet will be posted either today or tomorrow, depending on whether Photobucket hates me right now or not.
* Jenna is currently 110 days old!
Isn't that, like, really old for a sim? JUST DIE ALREADY, JENNA!
* Sorry this chapter's so short... I'm not very pleased with how today's chapters turned out.
* Next chapter will be a lot longer, but it'll have lots of dialogue. You've been warned. ^^''
* I got "I bequeath thee" from
this video* Violet's current pastimes may give a hint at her career when she grows up, but I'm not sure.
* Tell me what you think of this chapter! Pwease?~ :3
