IMPORTANT NOTE:
This chapter will be from Rose's point of view. It'll stay third person limited, but center around Rose.
Chapter Fourteen "Rose."
"Rose!"
"
Rose!"
"Okay, I'm up." Rose grumbled, sitting up in bed. She tossed her quilt aside, and rubbed her eyes sleepily. She then looked down to find Daisy sitting on the stone floor next to her bed, tapping her foot impatiently. "I'm afraid to ask how you got out of your crib." Rose whispered to her sister. "You know mom's gonna be mad at you."
"With any luck, mom won't find out. Now get dressed, and don't wake mom and dad up." Daisy crawled over to Lily's crib, and pulled herself upright using the bars. She poked her sister impatiently. "C'mon, Lily." Her sister sat up, still groggy.
"I'm up..." she mumbled, rubbing sleep from her blue eyes. Lily grabbed the bars of her crib, and shoved the gate down with surprising force. She hopped out.
"Remind me again why we're doing this Rose grumbled as she tugged Daisy's shirt over her head.
"We're gonna help Heather and mom reconcile. Those things Heather said to her were wrong, and you know it."
"Yeah, yeah. But at..." Rose grabbed the alarm clock from her dresser. "...
Twelve-thirty?!"
"Yes, twelve-thirty. Now c'mon." Daisy began crawling over too the bathroom. Rose scooped up Lily and followed her. She walked quickly until she reached Daisy, and slowed her pace to match hers.
"What about Violet?" It didn't really seem fair to leave their other sister out of the whole thing.
"I doubt Violet even knows what's going on."
"I guess..." Rose stopped, realizing they'd come to the only other separate room in the basement. Rose stepped up, and knocked on the door. "Heather. Open the door." she said quietly. No response came form the other end of the door. "Heather, mom isn't with us. Now open the door, please." After a few moments of silence, the lock clicked, and Heather opened the door. Rose stepped in quietly, closed the door, and sat with her back against it. She looked up at her older sister, and sighed sadly. Hether looked really upset. There were tear stains on her cheeks, and her purple eyes looked dull and miserable. Lily climbed out of Rose's lap, and sat down beside Daisy. Rose took a deep beath, and then began speaking.
"Heather, why are you so mad at mom?"
"She's so selfish. She can escape anytime she wants, and leaves her kids and her husband, who she claims to love, to rot in this hole." Heather answered flatly.
"No, you're wrong. Mom wants nothing more than for all of us to live in freedom, but she can't. In order for us to have been born outside, she would have had to leave dad down here, never to know his own kids! Do you want dad to suffer a fate like that?!"
Heater started to protest, but Daisy interrupted her. "Right now, we have no way of escaping, but if mom had one, she woulf give it to us! Mom isn't selfish, she isn't heartless, she loves us! Can't you see that?"
"No." Heather said coldly. "I can't. She could have taught
us martial arts, so we could all escape."
Daisy jumped to her feet, angrily. "And what about us?! We can't learn martial arts! We can't escape like that!"
"Daisy's right." Rose stated. "You're the only one who can learn martial arts right now."
Heather looked down a her feet, and didn't say anything.
"Heather, you know those things you said to mom were wrong. There was no reason to take your anger and frustrations out on mom."
"I don't need to be lectured by my younger sisters!" Heather snapped.
"Oh, yeah?" Daisy countered, annoyed. "How many times have you lectured us about fighting over toys or snacks? At least we were only fighting over trivial things like that! You lecture us about fighting all the time, but does that give you the right to do the same?!"
"No..." Heather mumbled.
"Look, we both know it isn't mom's fault we're living dow here, and you know it." Rose locked eyes with her sister, praying she would forgive her mother.
For a long time, Heather didn't say anything, just looked down at the stone floor. Finally, she sighed "I guess you're right, Rose. This isn't mom's fault."
"So you forgive her?" Lily asked, hopefully. Heather nodded. "Yay!" Lily clapped her hand together, gleefully.
Rose stood up, and opened the door. Amanda and Raymond had woken up, and were sitting on their bed, talking quietly. They turned around when they saw Rose and Heather come up to them.
Amanda forced a smile. "There you are. We were looking for you." Rose nodded.
"Heather wants to tell you something."
Heather walked up to Amanda. "Mom, I'm sorry." she said softly. "I didn't mean what I said. Can you-" she sniffled. "Can you ever forgive me?"
Amanda pulled Heather into a hug. "Of course I do, sweetie." she said softly. "I love you, you're my precious daughter." Rose sighed contentedly. Everyone was happy in their household again.
Time skip... It had been a few weeks since Heather's argument with Amanda, and everything was back to normal. Amanda had just gotten back from shopping, and was holding a box from Sunset Valley's best Pâtissier. Inside was a birthday cake. Rose would be a teenager in a few days.

Chapter Notes:
* I wrote most of this chapter yesterday, but my account ran out of time before I could post it. Sorry about that
* This chapter was hard to write, I'm good at writing fight scenes (verbal fights, of course), but not so good at reconciliation scenes.
* Rose has already aged up to teen in my game, so I'll post pictures later.
* And yes, TS3 children can't carry toddlers, but in my opinion they should.
* I'll update again today, I promise. This one technically counts as yesterday's update.
* Tell me what you think of this chapter! Pwease? :3
