Chapter Six Amanda's labor had lasted a couple hours, but Raymond had been very helpful, and both Amanda and the baby came out fine. She was a beautiful baby, and they had decided to name her Heather. As she rested in her crib, and Amanda took a nap after being tired out by her labor, Raymond thought about how wonderful his life has become
Time skip...After a couple days, Heather has aged up into a toddler, with brown, wavy hair and blue eyes, just like her mother. Only problem was, she once asked her mother a question she had a
very hard time answering.
"Mama?" (This was after she had learned her toddler skills, couldn't really find anything interesting to say about 'em.)
"Yes, sweetie?" Amanda already knew how curious her daughter was, as she asked questions every day.
"What's a twee?"
Raymond, who was eating lunch, nearly choked on his hot dog.
"Where'd you hear about that, honey?" Raymond and Amanda has made a decision a couple days ago that they wouldn't tell Heather about trees or
anything form the outside world until she was old enough to understand it.
"Jimmy Spwocket." Heathers answer jerks Amanda back to the present as she holds up the book she'd been reading.
I knew buying her that book was a bad idea Amanda thought with an inward groan. Out loud, she said,
"I'll tell you when you're older, sweetie."
"NO! WANNA KNOW
NOW!" Heather burst into tears. She was fairly levelheaded for a toddler, but she hated it when people kept secrets from her.
"Heather. If you keep crying, we won't tell you at all." Amanda didn't like having to to this to her daughter, but she had no choice.
"Ok..." Heather sulkily walked over to the rug, and flopped down with '
Fingerpainting 101.
Amanda sighed, and looked over at Raymond. He nodded and they walked over to a corner of the basement with nothing in it.
"What're we going to tell Heather?" Raymond asked. "She's obviously expecting an answer, and she won't wait that long, and if we try telling her in words, she'll get all these crazy ideas and images that are nothing like trees."
"I know, I know." They though for a bit, and then Amanda had an idea. "I've got it! I'll buy a camera at the consignment shop and take a
pictureof a tree for her!"
"Great! You should probably leave now, though. She's just going to get more impatient." Amanda nodded, and sat down to mediate. After a couple hours, she vanished in a burst of rainbow sparkles. Raymond walked over to the bookshelf to find something to read, when Heather looked up from '
Handprints of the Masters' and glanced around the room.
"Where's mommy?"
I really should have seen this coming... thought Raymond. "She's... out right now"
"Oh, ok." Heather turned back to her book.
Well... that was easier that I expected.Time skip... again...Amanda Zeneported back in, with a shopping bag full of stuff. Raymond walked over, and examined its contents.
"A camera, a Fluffy Bunny music box and... a cake? What's this for?"
"Don't tell me you forgot, Raymond! I's going to be Heathers birthday in a few days!

Chapter Notes:
* The reason I said Raymond was helpful during Amandas labor is because I wanted it to seem that he's Amandas soulmate, and that he loves his family with no bounds. In the actual game, Raymond was no help at all.
*Free cookies if you can guess one of Heathers traits. I gave clues in the story.
*Amanda actually got that camera a lot earlier, but I thought this fitted the story better.
*There will hopefully be another chapter today. I can't say for sure, but I think so.
* By the way, if labor goes on for three hours, is that considered dangerous? If it is, I'll change it.
*Tell me what you thought of this chapter! Pwease? :3
