Well, even if she is the Agnes parody, she still makes a great dynasty spouse! I love her wing color, very pretty.

I'm having a few problems. The game is slow and glitchy even though it is relatively new and it's starting to really annoy me. So I've started again and moved towns. I'm not sure if I should use this thread again (I was very pleased with my prologue) or if I should just keep it. Thoughts?

Depends on how hard it would be to write it into the story. You are really skilled at tying stuff together so I believe you could.

A new beginning

Watcher: Haymitch? Wake up, buddy. Haymitch...? HAYMITCH!

Haymitch: Waaah?

Watcher: You've got to wake up. Now.

Haymitch: What for, Mum? Tell Peeta and Finnick that it's their turn...

Watcher: That was a long time ago now. Peeta and Finnick and Echo aren't here now. You've got to help them.

Haymitch: What happened to them?

Watcher: They've been taken. I was careless, I let them slip away. Echo and your brothers, as well as their wives and children, have all been captured by an evil force. Only you can save them now.

Haymitch: But how, Watcher? How can I save them?

Watcher: The book, Haymitch. Look back to the book. It will tell you...

Haymitch: Watcher?! Don't leave me now!

Watcher: Don't worry, Haymitch... I'll always be watching you... taking care of you...

Haymitch: No! I need you to talk to me. Tell me what to do!

Watcher: Believe...

Oooh, dramatic!

Yeah, I thought my Life States stories were just getting a bit too happy-smiley and I don't think that is what makes the Believers. I wanted a bit of a twist  :D

Chapter 1 - Arriving in Monte Vista

Dear Diary/Log/Memo/Whatever I want to call this... oh forget it! Hello Readers!

I know you all know me. Haymitch Believer, son & sibling of the almighty heirs/founder. But now my whole family is locked up somewhere and it's entirely up to me to save them. And it would help an awful lot if my Watcher didn't keep jumping me around! One minute in Barnacle Bay, next minute I'm here. In Monte Vista, the sun-kissed Italian paradise! Did you check out all my excellent vocabulary? I am a writer, as you all very much know. And a charmer. Watch out ladies of Monte Vista!

Okay, so I head to the pizzaria and get cooking. Maybe one of the somebody will spot me and think I'm some super rich chef? Who am I kidding? I burnt that bread!

Wow, another ghost? Just like me? I thought it was just Mum and me. Cleary not. He tells me his name is Valentine and that he's been a ghost for quite a while. We compliment each other's ghastliness and we talk about our interests. I mention my love of cats and he tells me about a shelter nearby and that there are many cats without a home there. I cannot ignore kitties in need!

Meet Tigger, my elderly kitty companion. He's a quiet, friendly little chap and I think we'll get on very well.

I've been working very hard on my writing. One of the only electronical items I have is my computer (the other is my MultiTab 6000). I use it to write my novels. I've already written 5, a series called 'Ghostville', obviously after myself. I mean, you can't have a better ghost tale than one written by a ghost, can you?

Then, one day, fate arrived on my doorstep. My trusty (or not so trusty, in this case) computer decided to die on me. I'm not rich enough to buy a new one and I needed to get back to my writing straight away. So I phone for a repair technician. And it was she who came to my aid.

She had golden, reddish-brown hair, soft, honey-coloured skin and eyes you could drown in. And I'm not just talking about her through writers' eyes. She was simply the most beautiful woman I'd ever met. Her name was Tonya.

"Flowers?" I offered a bouquet of red roses.

"Oh, thank you, sir." She giggled, taking the roses and giving them a big sniff.

We'd only been together a few hours but we both knew it was love.

So I leant over and kissed her.

She settled down in my bed for the night. And when morning came back around, we were still in each other's arms.

Come on, Haymitch--

Don't stop! Believing! Hold onto that feeling!

Really? I'm the only one who thinks of Journey when I read the title?

Tonya is a cutie. Maybe Haymitch will have a sun-kissed bride for his life in a new sun-kissed land? Btw, is he going to specialize in horror novels? Seems appropriate for a ghost!  ;D
