Chapter 5 - The voice of Effie

Hi everybody! I'm Effie! Up til' now you've been talking to my Daddy but he says it's my turn now!

He got a present on my birthday but I don't mind now because he's not ugly and bald anymore and he can go outside without people laughing at him... so, it's all good.

But I did get a nice new wardrobe for my birthday. Usually, I only show you one outfit but I want show you them all because they're all so pretty!

My new hairstyle:

Everyday:

Formal:

Sleepwear:

Athletic:

Swimwear:

Outerwear:

I love my rocking horse. We go on wild adventures together. Look at me go!

When I'm not doing that, I'm painting. I love painting, I'm really good at it. Here's me getting my wish to master the painting skill.

I decided then that I would become a Master of the Arts, which means I need to max both the painting skill and the guitar skill. I really want to learn guitar - but Mum said that I can't until I'm a teenager. So not fair!

It's a bit weird being a ghost vampire. I've never actually died, nor have I been bitten by a vampire, but because of my parents I get to be both. Mum says that when my adult requirements are done, I can take this special food called Ambrosia which will make me a human (well, vampire).

Speaking of ghosts, there was a zombie who died when he came to our house the other night.

I could have watched if I'd wanted, but I thought the Grim looked rather scary so I retreated to my room.

But I found Mum pillowfighting with him! She never pillowfights with me, she only tutors me, because she says it's important. But she'll happily pillowfight with Mr Death himself...

I like going for joyrides on the sofa. It's all imaginary but it's still fun!

I got my opportunity (in fact, I was showered with opportunities!) and on honor roll on the second last day of school. So I got to age up!

Ahh! The sparkles!

Urgh, this hair! I'm off to change it, but I'll see you all later!

Effie over and out!

Chapter 6 - Prom Night and Fairies

Hiya everybody! It's Effie here and I'm a teenager now! Just check out all my new outfits!

I got the Genius trait to add to my Kleptomaniac, Virtuoso and Perceptive traits. I think I've done well on traits, no really nasty ones. I've got my fingers crossed for Artistic when I become an adult.  :)

Did I tell you that Dad finished his masterpiece? It's called 'What it means to Believe' and he plans to give me a copy 'when I'm ready'. I don't know what that means but I can't wait to find out what he's written!

He also completed his lifetime wish at the same time. Go Dad!

Speaking of lifetime wishes, I completed mine! I can't believe that I've got it already but I learnt the guitar super fast!

But it's not all fun and games for me. I've got requirements to do! So I went and got a job at the graveyard. Spooooky!

Then I went swimming in the sea but immediately got out because I saw something else swimming in the water... *gulp*

Mum suggested that I go out and meet some spouse potentials. She knows a young werewolf boy but he's just a little kid (well, at the moment!). So I went to the park.

I met lots of people, including this guy, Alfonso. He's a fairy, which isn't very manly, but he's quite handsome and we both like music.

Unfortunately, he's an adult, therefore out of my reach until I age up. There's always time to find somebody else though...

It was the night of the prom and I used Dad's new teleporter to get me there on time. But I left too early so I went for a swing, like old times.

I saw some boys going in that I'd never seen before, named Quinton (going in the door) and Barry (behind him).

I had a great time! I was voted Prom Queen and I got to dance with Quinton. He's really sweet. He may not be a supernatural at the moment, but there's always time for him to 'convert'.

My boss is really mad at me for skipping work to go to the Prom but I'll make it up to him. I'll work harder than ever before!

The only thing about Alfonso is that he looks so much like Henry, a Sim in my Immortal Dynasty, and I'm guessing that if he was made into a girl he'd look a lot like Tonya  ;D

But it's definitely a toss-up between him, Quinton and the blonde fairy with the red wings in the picture where she's talking to Alfonso. He's an adult, I think, but he won't age up for a long time yet. There's also the werewolf boy I mentioned, who is still a child at the moment .

Chapter 7 - A race against aging

The other night, we were robbed for the first time.

The robber had already stolen our Gnome grave when Dad caught her and he rang the police.

But the police woman was easily defeated by the criminal and she ran away, along with our Gnome grave.

The thieves must be targeting metal at the moment. R.I.P Gnome grave.

Anyway, I met up with Quinton again. I wanted to see if he was really the one.

And I decided that he was.

But then I had to run home because I needed to do some more tutoring. Mum is determined to get me on the honor roll otherwise our whole dynasty will fail.

That's why my cousin Clove failed, because she didn't get on the honor roll as a child. Dad told me that she and my other cousin, Glimmer, and my grandmother, Echo, and my uncles Peeta and Finnick and their wives have all be captured by some evil force. That's why we need to finish this dynasty, so we'll have a team of strong supernaturals that can save them. I'm a key part of that because I'm a vampire and when I become a solid vampire I'll be able to run super fast. I'm also very clever and can skill super fast. I'm important!

But did I tell you that Marley and Erica, our two little kitties, had a little kitten named Tommy? Well, I didn't but they did and here he is.

That photo is actually really old. It was taken before I was even born! My Dad is just terrible at keeping you updated with our pets. Tommy is a big adult cat now and I'll show you a picture when I take one.

More on cats: both Marley and Erica had their elder birthdays.

And we adopted a new kitty! She's called Rachel and she's utterly adorable!

Back on me: I started learning logic and am on level 9 at the moment. Dad says I should wait and see if I get the wish to max logic but nothing has come up yet.

I was starting to get worried. I only had a few days before aging into a young adult and I hadn't reached the top of the mausoleum clerk career, mostly due to my punctuality (because of my ghostliness) and because I missed a shift to go to the prom. It was my last day, because the mausoleum was closed the next day. Would I do it...?

Yes! I got promoted that very last day!
(and don't even ask about the hair - we were forced to wear really long wigs which always fell off into the graves)

So I raced home to have my birthday!

And I'm a Young Adult! Now, excuse me, I'm off to have a makeover!

I didn't actually think she was going to make it. I knew that if she had the highest mood and was there on time she could do half a bar (work hard). But she went to the prom so it fell into red. And then there was a night when the teleporter broke down and she had to go in the carpool but there is this little path beside the lot and the sims always insist on going down it. So it took her over an hour just to get from the house to the carpool and then the carpool didn't go far enough so she had to walk all the way to the cemetery and everyone knows that ghosts walk super slow. So by the time she got there, it was time to go home!
I bought her multi-tasker and that might have helped her, though I haven't decided yet if that is going to be one of her unique rewards. She's already got extra creative.
And on her last night, the night she needed to get the final promotion, it said she had a spooky day! I nearly cried because I thought that was going to be the end of the dynasty. But to my great surprise, she went into school and into work and got the final promotion! I was so happy and raced her home to age her up  :)

Chapter 8 - Quinton

Well, here's me. Ah, it's sad to be solid for such a short time in CAS but I suppose that's what it has to be like until I get my requirements done and Mum makes me Ambrosia.

Little Rachel had her adult birthday and is a very pretty cat.

And she and Tommy (who I still don't have a photo of!) had a little kitten together. We named him Randall.

I've been working hard on my requirements, mostly painting. But I did have time to invite Alfonso over.

He's quite handsome - but I don't have any feelings for him. I think he feels the same so we've decided just to be friends.

But there is somebody I want to be more than friends with - Quinton, my old high school love. He'd been a teenager for a long time but when I rung him up the other day, he told me he'd graduated. So I invited him over.

When he arrived, he was wearing a pirate outfit but that didn't matter. We both felt the same love that we had when we were younger
.

How is it possible for me not to fall for this face?

I invited him to move in with us, knowing for definite that he was the one.

He was more than happy to.

He is so handsome, wouldn't you agree? He kept his hair but swapped his his clothes for something a little more 'him'.

I told Dad and he was very excited about it. But I told him that I was worried about Quinton being a human, not an occult. However, Dad had smiled and told me to leave it to him.

The next day, I discovered what his plan was. He'd called up one of his werewolf buddies to do the 'transformation'.

A few days later, he was completely transformed.

And, to round this chapter up, I got a bird, named Parsnip.

Chapter 9 - Three deaths and a wedding

My requirements have been dragging on for forever. I seem to spend everyday of my life tutoring kidnapped paper delivery children or people in the house, like Mum.

Little Randall became a gorgeous cat when he aged up into an adult.

But, sadly, it was time for Marley to go. He was old, very old, but it was still a tragic time.

Grim was nice enough to take the trash out, though. It's more than our cleaners do!

And that wasn't our only kitty death. Tommy passed on, shortly after his father. I'm really sad that some of the few pictures I show you of Tommy are of his death.

Rachel was very sad after Tommy left. He was her mate and she was missing him badly. We tried cheering her up by playing with her all the time.

Randall was pretty sad too, as was Erica, losing both her son and her mate in such a short space of time. So I adopted a new little kitty! She's called Angela and she's so cute!

Unfortunately for Angela, she had to witness the death of Erica, our eldest kitty, who was well over 60 days old.

But maybe it's time to move away from all the sadness of the kitties and look on the brighter side. I've nearly all of my requirements done apart from my last 5,000 point wish and my last Lifetime Reward. I don't know where to look for that last wish. More paintings, perhaps? No, that's not really what I want. Wait...

... Quinton! What I wish for more than anything else is to marry Quinton!

The date was set and Dad bought a DIY Wedding Arch from the store. It took him a while to set it up but it was finished by the time the sun rose in the morning.

So, in the morning glow of the Monte Vista sun, Quinton and I exchanged rings
.

It was like true love was being shaken from the sky. The moment couldn't have been more perfect.

I purchased Immortal as my final Lifetime reward and my requirements were all wrapped up. So Quinton and I decided that it was time.

Here's Effie in her beautiful wedding dress:

By the way, there may have been a bit of a mess up regarding the chronological order of the story. This is because I've been playing lots (and taking a lot of screenshots) and forgetting to update! So I've got a lot of screenshots to get through and I've got to give them a good sort out as well!

Chapters 10 - The cry of a nooboo

I woke up one morning feeling rather nauseous. It couldn't have been Dad's cooking, could it...?

NO! I was going to have a nooboo!

I told Dad straight away, because he's always been there for me. He was thrilled, of course.

Next was Quinton, who was both shocked and excited.

Quinton: Hello there, little nooboo!

Quinton: Wow, Effie, it's amazing! I can feel them moving!

A few days later, the pains struck. It would have been safer to go to the hospital, but I wanted to stay put.

After a few hours of agony, I had my beautiful little Cato, a baby werewolf.[/size]

I'd managed to get Cato in his cot (in the newly constructed nursery) when the pains started again.

Cato's brother would be named Marvel, and he's a ghost werewolf.

Either one could be the heir so we'll just have to wait and see!
