Nothing in Sims besides their behavior scares me. I'm serious when I say that I do not command my worst sims most of the time. They know what I want, and sometimes Ignore it. It always freaks me out because it feels lie I'm training the Sims in question.  I play them for a short while, then they just sort of come to life, and get more, and more animated.  It. Freaks. Me. Out.

Look, yall, I was just having fun simming. I was sending my little family to bed and they just got in bed. The volume was a little high when, BOOM! This huge flash of lightning went kapooee and made an EXTREMELY LOUD noise! My heart started racing. Lawd, it scared me SO much.

The eyes in the mine in Sunset Valley are terrifying for me. And I almost never touch inventing and metal sculpting because of the fire hazards, I can't bare losing a sim.

If they set themselves alight, you can put them out in a shower. The fire department’s too slow for its own good, and the Fireproof Homestead LTR doesn’t prevent it as far as I know.

I will admit I was startled when it was the middle of the night and the Ghost Hunter music started playing for seemingly no reason. I thought my active Sim’s house was somehow under a spirit invasion! However, it just happened to be the neighbor’s house, which was directly below where the camera had been. It brings up the question I’ve had about that, but I’ll find somewhere else to ask it so this thread doesn’t go off-topic.

“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

With seasons installed I find the bolts of lightning/thunder almost as startling as they are in real life.  I almost always jump when it happens on my home lot!

Same with their heads moving after you've paused. Creepy...
The lightning striking my lot still makes me jump. Um... the music in general when something bad happens (ie. Grim Reaper shows up, someone dies, zombies on my lot, "foreboding full moon" music with the werewolf howl, being in the cemetery etc)

Also the first time one of my Sims were abducted by aliens. Strange that they only take the girls on my lots...

In game, the Grim Reaper is the one that scares me most. I never know stray dog/cat could die in my lot and I thought one of my sims is dying! The music and the sudden appearance of Grim Reaper is really scary. Another thing that scares me is the zombie. I freaked out by their appearance so much that I locked the lunar phase to one phase only. I hope there will be option to disable them. It was horrible for me when they came out from the ground in full moon.

The ghost music makes me go on panic mode everytime it plays. That's why I don't like keeping tombstones on my lot.

Distorted animals. They don't really scare me but they still look freaky.

Graveyards creep me out in general.

Thunderstorms have startled me several times, but it doesn't bother me that much.

It's not really scary or creepy, but I still get startled when the view jumps to someone dying or for the pregnancy swirl. I should be used to it by now.

The music that plays when a ghost appears. And the burglar music. Why do they have to be so sinister? D:

Bugs Bunny! I always afraid if he bring along his friends like Error Code 12, cannot load, stuck in Vacation and so many more. But, with my new PC, I haven't found any Bugs Bunny that lurking around. So, glad that never happened again to me :3
