When my witches cast upgrade charms, I always think that they're going to catch themselves or the object in question on fire, even though I haven't actually had that happen yet. Sudden noises and camera movements also freak me out.

I'm scared when it comes to a Graveyard, even this is The Sims, but it's like a real. For the first time when an urn or tomb is placed in family house, the sound that come along with appearance of Ghost make me scared. I scared too when burglar come into my Sims house and successfully stealing things. Having fire in your lot is scary too, not for the fire, but for the life of Sims that living in.

Of course that is nothing compare to this:
The most things that I scared of when I had error code things when I saved the game :D
I hope that will never ever happen again!

The creepy red eyes under the bed when a child 'checks for monsters'.

When I first saw that, it scared me so much, I didn't want to sleep in my own bed!

I have to say that Bonehilda's behavior if you have babies/toddlers is really the only thing that creeps me out on a regular basis!

She goes and stands all creepy and stalker like in front of their cribs when they are sleeping or awake and makes little cooing noises like she is waiting for them to grow so she can roast them and eat them later!  I think the creepiness is in how often she does it, in my game she is almost always standing in front of one crib or another.

It's also creepy how often she stands in front of mirrors and examines her non-existent face.

Since I recently had a house fire, that my neighbor had to rescue me with a ladder from and just in the nick of time, I am now frightened anytime a fire starts. I use Twallen's DebugEnabler mod to make everything I can fire proof. I have also discovered the fire proof homestead LTR. Other than that I can't think of anything, though when I first got seasons the first thunderstorm made me jump. Zombies kind of freak me out but I wouldn't say scared of them but I did find a mod on modthesims.com that stops them from rising up on the full moon and being annoying. They got annoying fast for me..

I don't know how to make a banner or I would. I have a sim legacy story if anyone would like to check it out *whistles*

Wanna know what's even scarier than when Sims stare at you through the screen? When their faces glitch. I was playing with Talus and Rosenrot, and when I switched over to Rosenrot, her eyes looked like they were painted on black and horribly warped, and her mouth was a black hole of despair. I don't think the face as a whole fit right, either. It switched back to normal before I managed to pull myself together for a screenshot, though. I wasn't even sure that I wanted the screenshot, it was that disturbing. It was like something out of a creepypasta, except it actually happened!

The most scary thing I have experienced while playing the game is when the camera suddenly pans/goes to a lot or home. Not of fire or others but of someone's death and when Grim Reaper comes.{shivering}

Your game crashes.  No chance to save.  Everything from last save point is gone.  My game usually waits until something important (wedding, birth, age up etc) for this to happen then I have to do it all over again.

Another (in game) creepiness is when you pause for a screen shot and the Sims head keeps moving and she stares RIGHT AT YOU.

Yeah, I hate it when a sim stares at you.  In the first Sims 3 game I ever played, I would have the mom put the baby in the crib, and when she was a few feet away from the crib she would turn her head slightly and look up at me and just stare at me the entire time while she's putting the baby in the crib.  It was just so creepy.  I still get something like that every once in a while, but mostly I just get someone look at me briefly as they're passing by, so it isn't as bad.

I was slightly startled the first time I encountered a mummy, but then I saw how slowly they move.  I like having multiple mummies in the same area and playing keep away with them.

I have to admit, I jumped when I saw the mummy arm coming out from under the bed when my sim!daughter checked for monsters. I ended up waking my sim!self up to go deal with it, but my sim!daughter just napped on the sofa in the Study instead. My sim!self was neurotic, so I had him check the sink to rid him of a negative moodlet before going back to bed.

Live and learn, I guess. Are there any positive outcomes from said interaction?

I'm curious why you're putting an exclamation point between sim and daughter/self.

It’s to clarify the difference between when I’m talking about real-life relations compared to in-game relations. I remember seeing it used somewhere else on the forum, and it made sense to me.

When I was a nooboo to the game, Grim would freak me out. Other than that, I'm cool with everything, but when they look at you, it's pretty creepy. When I first got supernatural, the first zombie made me about jump out of my chair lol. Now I'm so used to everything, hardly anything bothers me. Now that I've said that, the next time I play somethings gonna scare me haha.
