Can't Delete Sculpture Base

So I moved my Sims household into the bin and then inserted them into a new hood. One of them must have been sculpting when I moved them, because the sculpture item now has a sculpture base on it as well as the finished sculpture. Problem is, it shows that the object is in use and I can't delete it. I've turned testingcheatsenabled true on as well as moveobjects on. I can't move the sculpture base into my inventory, I can't delete it, can't use the sledghammer tool or anything. It's just sitting on my lot now and I can't get rid of it.  I even tried shift clicking on it to use the Object>>Delete trick, but when I shift click on it nothing happens. I can't find a solution anywhere besides creating a fake basement and shoving the object out of sight.  Any other suggestions?

Are you talking about the sculpting material can't be moved as you've moved it off the sculpting station?

Yes, same issues.  Although I didn't move the material to look, I tried getting the Sim to finish the sculpture and it wouldn't let me, so I just tried to delete it. Tried doing a search with the Google custom search for the topic before posting but didn't find anything that would help. Guess I'll be making a fake basement then to get it off the lawn. Thanks.

Or, if you don't play a challenge with rules that won't allow you, you could:
- Save you game first before doing anything
- Then put the sculpture base on the lawn
- Save/copy the family to the library (without the sculpture base)
- Go back into the house where the family also still is
- Move the sculpture base into the inventory / family inventory
- Move the family (including the sculpture base in the inventory) out of the house and delete them
- Move the family from the library (the ones without the sculpture base) into the house.

This is just a thought. Not sure if it works, but I think it could. Good luck with it!
