Oh man, that fence is gorgeous.  I'm really anxious for the patch too.  I dunno if it's limited to mac users, but currently if you try to build more than 2 levels, including adding a basement to a 2-story house, it crashes EVERYTHING. 

Pretty frustrating for someone who is finally learning to build.  I am kind of underwhelmed by the limited edition add-ons, though.  Especially after that awesome statue that UL offered for pre-order.

Does anyone know if Dive sites will be able to be created in CAW? Or will we be totally reliant on isla paradisa?

It's a shame that's her last screenshot but I've only got 12 more days to wait so I think I can cope until then.

We're not sure yet. Graham seems to think that it should be possible but he did say he wonders if you'd have to use the Isla Paradisa as a template to get the Sea Depths. I think it's likely someone will find a way around any issue though. It seems like a certainty that Worlds made before IP will be unable to have Dive Lots unless they undergo extreme terrain adjustment.

I know it was said somewhere, in one of the vids I believe but not completely sure, that the sea depths in other worlds are just too shallow to be able to put dive lots in, but you can add more to Isla Paradiso.

I remember reading that, not sure if it was here, probably as this is the only site I now go to, it was stated that the depths were too shallow for diving and so it could only be done in the IP expansion pack locations. 

I am hoping I can find the funds to buy it, but it will be touch and go if I have the money. 

Fun time, the grandkids are here now, so it is going to be a madhouse for three weeks.

So excited, I have just pre-ordered the new Island Paradise disc. I can't wait for it to arrive. I watched a promo for it & it looks great, house boats, building resorts & scuba diving, looks like there's a lot to do.

Yes there will be a board dedicated to the Expansion and the Guide should cover the new Content. I'm going to merge this thread with the main Island Paradise thread as it doesn't need to be separate.

There is an entire thread dedicated to Island Paradise already.  I'm going to go ahead and merge this topic with that one.   There are pictures, posts about the broadcasts and links to stuff that came out on Community Day.

When the actual expansion is released, the staff will make a board for the expansion and start setting up all the preliminary threads like First Impressions, Island Pictures, etc.

There is a new trailer out there for launch for this expansion pack.   You can watch it here.   The link takes you to youtube where we can't moderate.  There may be rude and slanderous posts under the video so be careful.


Also - if you didn't know there is currently a community challenge.  If they get 4000, pre-orders everyone who has pre-ordered prior to June 21st will receive a free copy of Barnacle Bay.
