Also, SimGuruSarah tweeted that the new patch is not going live this week.

Bummer.  I'm holding off on starting a new dynasty until the patch comes out and I still hold onto that thread of hope that they'll fix story progression, so the extended wait is making me antsy.

Probably the latter. All I'm doing is hoping.

They didn't give a specific time. I was thinking today because EA has had a streak of releasing patches two weeks before an EP is released, but that ended up being wrong.

This is also the week of E3 so I'm thinking it will be next week after the broadcast.  They don't want to release something that breaks something and have to deal with that during the broadcast.

Off topic, I know, but my son was watching the E3 and thought the plants vs zombies would be a cute game to play, a break from games like fallout, or whatever he likes to play.  It looked interesting.
Made me think of the zombies and the pea shooters in the SN expansion pack. 

I guess also off topic, but what is the skilling problem?  I don't remember having problems with skilling, but I might not have noticed it; if it deals with dynasties, as I don't do those.

Saving the game when Sims are in a high mood increases their skill gain rates each time. I've not yet experienced it, but it's a gamebreaker, especially in Dynasties and other similar challenges.

Each picture makes me want this more. Already pre-ordered so I'll get it after midnight on the 25th!  I can't wait to be able to find a mermaid! I also love the idea of making resorts and running them! Also, houseboats, swimming with sharks, scuba diving!! All things I'd never do in real life, but all things I can't wait to try in sims!!

I actually like the fast skilling sometimes!
