Island Paradise Expansion Pack

This does look pretty amazing.  I saw some of the video of the houseboat and it was brilliant.  I have to say, too, that I'm just flabbergasted at the expansions that are being released so quickly after each other.  It's getting hard to keep up!

Going to the future. They've said a line or two about the third expansion pack this year in both of the broadcasts they've had this year, but there's no name or anything yet and it's just early early development.

See I thought I saw something about a third expansion but then I figure I read it wrong because there is supposed to be another stuff pack as well. Ok I'm not the only one that saw that.

I think I may have to give up University for this one. I don't think my laptop can take many more expansions and I definitely want this one!

Yeah, it's three expansions and two stuff packs as far as we know this year. The Stuff pack is apparently called Moviemaking, or something similar, and it's a lot of items for those who make machina...at least I think that's what those things are called.

I was just suddenly thinking, combined with the items that come with Barnical Bay, I can make me a pirate ship with a house boat, and fill it with pirates.

Anyone seen any info about items that come with this EP? I build way more than I play and get really excited about new items! 

I'm slightly worried about my laptop's ability to cope, I only have the Sims (and a few EPs and SPs) on it and it's 3/4 full on space. It runs ok, but I do worry I may overload it!

The oceans don't freeze over in winter . Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think EA coded it so that any water labelled as "saltwater" doesn't freeze over, but "freshwater" does.

Oh yeah, your right. Maybe they were planning for Island Paradise when they were making seasons and they realized houseboats couldn't be on frozen water so they made it so oceans didnt freeze over. I know that was a very long sentence.

It will be interesting to see how well houseboats might work with some of the other towns.  Riverview perhaps.  Maybe we can finally visit the island with a lighthouse in Sunset Valley.
