I'm actually really glad they're making it so you need multiple terms in order to graduate. That's way more interesting and realistic. Some home time for food from the 'rents, do your laundry, then back to school.

Plus a break from the 'real world' is always nice. I love my sims, but mixing it up is how I keep myself sane. Argh, I can't wait to see the new careers and that 6th trait - something I constantly lament about.

You could always downsize a bit just to make it grow with all of the new harvestables.

Those herbs look interesting, I wonder if our sims will be able to make herbal teas now, I'm a big fan of them in real life. Are there any new skills in this expansion pack? I do love the idea of sending sims off to experience university life, the toga parties, bonfires and freebie table all look cool. I love the new objects like the ping pong table too and there are some hairstyles that interest me too. This looks like a fun expansion pack.

Is there a new Live Broadcast for this? I haven't seen the latest one, link please?

Rainbow Dash - the link was provided to you in a different thread.  Please don't ask for things in multiple threads.  It causes confusion. 

There will be another live broadcast prior to Uni's release on March 5th that should give a better demo.  The Live broadcast from February 14th only has a Q&A session because the demo was giving the producers technical difficulties.


Another fun thing:   Simsfan.de has come up with an interactive Map for the University Life world.    The site is in German so please be aware that content my not be completely family friendly or translated correctly in some cases.    link

Some of the houses are adorable! I'm guessing that they're mostly small enough that they're for the faculty/staff, not for fraternities. Or can you rent a house instead of living in a dorm?

They did mention in the live broadcast that you can rent a house to live in if you don't want to live in a dorm.   It will cost extra money and the money will be deducted at the start of the term when you move.

Very neat!  I've never noticed this before, but it's exciting to see that for the first time, some of the EA created houses look like they could belong where I live.  I don't live near a college, though!

You know that picture of harvestables? 

Someone just posted on the forum that it's missing one thing.   Coffee Beans!   Plus the forbidden fruit that can turn a sim into a PlantSim or make a baby PlantSim.




Apparently the new smartphones can break.   Sims will drop their phone and it will cost §160 to repair it.  Just click on it from your inventory to have it done.

When it's broken the screen will appear like this.




For those that have seen the producer walkthrough, SimGuruBritt has posted the dorm she made for the video.   You can download it here.  It does contain content from Sims 3 University Life. So it you want to enjoy it as it was shown, you may want to wait until you own University to download & install it.

I finally find the University thread and it's eight pages already?! How exciting.

I didn't read the entire thread but I did catch the YouTube link and I can't wait. I loved sending my Simmies to college in TS2 and I know this will be a blast. And it's just in time too. I can send my story Sims to college.
