Help with choosing LTW
« on: January 05, 2013, 06:45:48 PM »
Ah, ok, so my Simself is trying to decide whether to be an Illustrious Author or Professional Author.
Which one is easier with a family? Her traits are:
Night Owl
Genius
Artistic
Computer Whiz
I only wish there was a "Hates Work" trait. Then it would so be me, lol.

So, do you know which one is easier with a family?

Also, for those of you with Supernatural, does Tristan Van Gould have very dominant features? to me it looks like he has a thin head...

Thanks,

Illustrious Author seems like something that's more feasible with a family, since it's just skilling. Not like Professional Author is impossible, but writing is incredibly boring to keep up with to get high royalties (getting to level 10 is pretty darn easy).

Ratchie used Tristan van Gould as a founding spouse and their son is quite the stunner, but he definitely takes a lot from Tristan.

I'd probably go for professional author just because it only involves one skill, and it will be relatively easy. I think it depends on how fast you need to finish the LTW, if you need fast, then professional author would be my pick, if you don't care about how fast you finish either one would do. Also, since she's artistic Illustrious would go well with her traits, if you want to keep that in mind.

Thanks! I think I'll go with Illustrious Author, and have her write in her teen and YA years, then have her "retire" from writing and paint children playing in daisies in her A and E years, sort of like a mid-life crisis, although I don't know if that's only with sims you play before A.
But that's a whole other topic, maybe I'll do it later or find out myself when my YA age up.

Thanks,
