How many Sims do you play under one household?

I always start with a single sim and it depends on my mood after that. Sometimes I fill up the whole household with children and sometime I leave it at three sims.

My very first Sim family I started with a single Sim and I made that Sim pursue a writing career. But I got tired of that and eventually I made a family of three brothers. And then after a while I felt they needed wives and I coudn't seem to find any Sim women that I liked in Sunset Valley so I made another set of three Sim sisters and merged them with the brothers. I played their family up to the second generation. I used the same family name and started a new game in Twinbrook but this time I started with a couple who were farmers and eventually their family grew to 5 members. After that I played with singles who eventually grew their families up to 8 members. I guess I like starting out small and then eventually I end up playing a huge family.

I always want to have only a few sims in one household, but somehow they seem to always have 6 kids . . . nooboo obsession!

I remember in my first game, both of the parents LTW's were Surrounded by Family. I didn't know how "babies are made" so I adopted 6 kids at the teen stage and just put all their beds in the hallway because build mode had not yet been discovered. Oh, good times . . . all my sims were so miserable!

Playing with too many sims can stress me out! I usually start with 2 sims, 3 sometimes.
