Can you have sims marry/be in a relationship/ be attracted to the same gender?

I was wondering if you can have a sim be attracted to the opposite sex. I'm a Potter nerd, so right now I'm doing the Malfoys. I have the Potters as well and want Draco and Harry to be a couple. No it's not odd at all. I was hoping you can. So, can you?

You mean can they be attracted to the same sex?  Since they are both males that makes them the same.   Yes the game allows for same sex relationships.   They won't be able to have kids without a mod but they can do anything else a couple can do.    The game's attraction system doesn't seem to work for the same sex yet though.

I've had a female sim ask my female Married sim on a date which kid of annoyed me. I might be getting mixed up, but that's how I remember it. Oh and a marriage between Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter won't last long!

There's a difference between the attraction system and the online dating system.  Online dating doesn't care what sex the Sim is so you will get calls from others of the same sex.   The attraction system is the one where the hearts fly above your head.   I have never had a sim of the same sex be attracted to a Sim of mine.

I haven't used the online dating thing, I'm definately thinking about the attraction system.

Yes it will they are obviously perfect for each other!

Yes, I think it's happened in my game, too.  But I can't say for certain, as I don't tend to pay a lot of attention to that feature.

I can say for certain that the attraction system works on the same sex in my game. Possibly more often than on the opposite sex.
