If we mention a spammer/person who gets banned's name in a post, is that post automatically removed?
Not automatically. I removed it manually only because with the spam post gone, any replies to it are confusing and untidy.
Ah, okay. Thanks Pam!EDIT: Thanks to mtglady (I think) for taking care of the newest spam attack.
I think it was Spam (it looked like it so I reported it), but in the General Discussion boards, somebody was talking about sites for PS3 games.EDIT: I don''t actually think it was an "attack", but to me, if it's Spam, it's an attack.
What I find kind of funny is that I mention mostly in my inbox almost every morning I wake up for the last few weeks I got mails (mostly from that great girl Alexandria) about spam and such. But every time I click on it, it guides me to a blanco page. Haha, seems that other pitbull moderators have already speed me out.No, I'm not slow! It's just that timezone excuse I can always use.
I haven't see that post you are talking about but please know that The Sims 3 also is on PS3, so maybe the person was reffering to that?
They weren't. It was a small list of random PS3 game sites.Just to check, if a thread really has absolutely nothing to do with the Sims 3 (or the forum/guide), we should report it, right?I've seen some random posts recently, written in Polish. When Google translated it for me, it seemed to be a wikipedia article about wheels. I reported it, but I'd like to check: Did I do the right thing?
In my opinion, it's best to report anything that you're unsure about. That way, if it's something that needs to be removed, it can be. If it's something that doesn't need to be removed, then nothing bad comes from reporting it.It's better to be safe than sorry
