Has anyone had trouble registering Fast Lane?  When I go to the EA online register page, The Sims 3 Fast Lane isn't on the list of games I can register.

I registered it from the sims website.  On the top under the heading "My Page" click on "My Account".  Once on that page you can click on the third option which is register game.  I was able to do it successfully.  Or that is what it said to me at least after I put in my serial code.

My new favorite decoration piece from the Fast Lane.

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Sold!

But seriously, will these items be available to buy individually at the Sims Store? I'd rather just buy the sign.

I am not sure.  Has anything from HELS gone to the store?  I don't remember what I got in that stuff pack but I don't think it has gone to the store.

Also I wish the sign came with a pole.  It is like a painting, it has to go on the wall.  I would love to put my gnome crossing sign in my veggie gardens.

gerrr00,

I've not seen anything from High-End Loft Stuff go on sale in the Store individually.

I can't say for sure, but I seriously doubt EA will ever offer content they sell as part of a Stuff Pack in the Store. From EA's point of view, it defeats the purpose of even shipping (or offering) Stuff Packs.

And I guess (I've not looked), but aren't the Stuff Packs available as digital downloads at the EA Store? For the folks who want to skip the whole process of buying and keeping the physical CD?

Ha, they've brought back the splines  ;D  ;D
We have followed the spines from when they were reticulated in the Sim City loading screen and then when they were included in the Sims loading screen, then Sims 2 and I'm sure they were in the intro screen of Sims 3, but not once HELS came out. Just loaded up Fast Lane again and there they are.. adjusting (I think it was) splines. Wonder how many other people missed them lol

I bought mine with leftover birthday money. I do love it. Especially the old style truck.  :D I also love the rug, but why dose it have to be the most expensive?  :'( I cant buy it on my 'I'm being Honest' family. I guess I have to make another one and follow one of the styles.

If you don't mind using the "moveobjects on" cheat, a post could be placed in the garden then the sign "attached" to it.

I keep forgetting about that.  I have only recently starting using cheats, well "moveobjects", thats about it. I think I will have to do that.  Now I have to start a family and get lots of gnomes and hope they congregate near the sign! Thank you for reminding me of that.

I'm also having touble getting my Store items reinstalled.  I can download them from the Store, install them through the launcher.  But that's where it stops.  When I actually open the game, my purchased items aren't there!  I uninstalled Fast Lane, reinstalled it, and nothing.  I uninstalled/reinstalled Fast Lane and Ambitions.  Still nothing.  I've written to EA about this problem.  In the meantime, anyone have any suggestions or me?

I ALWAYS have this problem unless I enter my game as administrator.  So when I click on the launcher icon I right click, bring up the menu and select "play as administrator" and I'm good to go.  If that doesn't work I do a general tidy up of my pc and game files, reboot, and try again.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

I know. Sometimes I feel bad because the sims suffer, and I could help them, but I'm like 'NOOO I CANT NOOOOO I'M SO SORRY  :'('...I felt extreamly bad when I killed off a family's two mom characters, but it was important to the story I was doing...Never again though.

Anyway, has anyone noticed the FL cars going faster than the other cars at their price level? The truck I like practially flew down the street....

@ Joria and Pam: on what system are you two running The Sims? Windows Vista or Seven? If Joria's version differs from that from Pam, her solution may maybe not work on Pams system, because I am sure she tried to run the game as an administrator already.

O and Pam, don't be mad at me but for the first time in mankind history I've discovered a misspelled word in your text. ;) It is 'trouble', not 'touble.' I am so proud of myself right now! :D
