It is indeed an Immortal Dynasty back-story. It is looking to turn out quite long, too. I'm not half done with it yet.

I can imagine.  Ana's back-story for the Life States Dynasty took me longer than her tasks :)

I'm really impressed by the chamberpot. And by the story, as well. I'll have to look for Levine's books the next time I go to the library. I used to enjoy Anne Sexton's poems, Transformations, and the musical, Into the Woods.

"Teddy, where's Mummy?"

Snow isn't going to end up anywhere near a gas mask, right? Right?!

That has got to be the saddest, cutest little--
Wow, this back-story must have taken you ages! Congrats on the chamber pot!

Well of course, you had to kill her over and over again! ;)

I can't take credit, I downloaded it [link removed - Pam] and I got her cradle [link removed - Pam] here. There's a lot of medieval stuff there. But thank you, I thought it added a nice touch.

Definitely check her out, I love her stuff. If you are looking for the Princess Tales, they are not numbered so the first one is called The Fairy's Mistake. It's heroine will be my Generation 2 for this dynasty.

No gas masks, I promise :D Love the Doctor Who reference though. Ugh, that would be so creepy! I will keep Snow away from that.

It really has. I'm not even done playing it yet. And yes, I am getting out all the heart-wrenching little things I can possibly do.

It is so touching that the king talked about her mother when he teached her to talk. The chamber pot was a nice touch. :)

Wow, you actually made her dress look like Snow White's! It's pretty adorable.

Thank you. Actually, I hoped he would do the broken heart thing while teaching her to talk. These Sims have been very co-operative with my wishes :)

Interesting read. I love the depth you are taking in the back story, and I know how you feel, play wise I am already on generation 4, but story wise I am constantly going into old saves to take the shots I want, to go with the sotry I want to write, and sometimes it gets hard. Good work, definitely one of my favorites so far.

Chapter 5

Far away from Snow White’s cosy home, there was a dark castle.

Should you be so foolhardy to pass through its narrow door,

This is what you would find.

And if you were most unlucky, you would also see…

Her.

She was a wicked witch bent on wealth and power. She was ruthless, willing to do anything necessary to get as much power as she could. Magical, and political. She knew the queen had recently died and that the king would be lonely, and she had her designs. But first she must prepare.

*********************************************************

Though the king did his best to pull himself together for Snow’s sake, he was still heartbroken over the loss of his queen.

Ellis did the best he could to cheer the king.

The king was most appreciative, for he considered Ellis not only a servant, but a friend.

*********************************************************

It’s time.

*********************************************************

That night, someone appeared outside the palace.

Oh no! This can't be good, I hope she don't cast a nasty spell on the king.

A fun twist on a familiar story. I'm interested in seeing how the dynasty part ties in. I know the witch is supposed to be evil and everything, but making Snow do an immortal dynasty to get her kingdom back is like, really evil. Then again, I guess that makes all of us who are doing one pretty terrible people! Haha! But seriously, great story telling.
