I think in this case it might be a bad idea because they're both 3 to 4 pages long. If I merged them together, then chances are a lot of the posts would be listed in a weird way and someone reading the whole thing might say, "what's that person responding to?"

You know what would fit well into TS3?

You guessed *of course* right; vampires! Think about it; with the open-neighbourhood structure of TS3, your guy would be able to morph into a bat as in Sims 2 and fly down to the central city, all through the night hanging devilishly in the dark alley-ways, biting all passing loners, only to find himself at dawn 5 km away from his home and fleeing home smoking and burning as they did in Sims 2! That was so funny! :D

They were really my favourite life-state!

That would be cool as long as they weren't Twilight type vampires. The first line of my signiture refers to that.

I've noticed throughout this thread that a lot of you want the stuff that Sims 2 had.  This is Sims 3 and it's new and different!  :D

I liked the idea of all the stuff suggested, but I agree with Pam. Why don't we let EA either reuse ideas or make new ones?

Anyone noticed that on the Sims 3 website, there are stories made up with Twillight Ainime and the Twillight Legacy? (It's only a film. Yes, I saw it and it was good, but its not something to go berserk over.)

On the Sims 3 site go into "watch sims 3 movies" or something and it has a funny movie teasing twilight. It was like the adds of it but funnier.

For the Sims i want the babies to be able to do something, they cant do anything! Even if its just rolling around in their cribs. They look so boring :(

Agreed. Of course, that means more coding and animation and at some point developers I guess just have to say enough is enough. Real babies less than a few months old basically don't do much, so the wrapped up in a blanket animation is pretty accurate. But, then babies start moving more — trying to turn over and reaching for things. This is long before they're officially toddlers.

I think it would be cool if you could notice that babies, toddlers, kids and teens grow in game, slowly.

LOL I was just thinking that! Just as pregnancy in TS3 develops on a rolling scale, so should aging! Think, instead of having two children, you have an 8-year old and a 10-year old! That would be so cool. 8)

I was reading through this thread and the last few posts got me thinking. TS3 does seem to be more kid friendly than TS2... especially the romantic interactions. Teens don't have as many as they used to, and there is no "goose" interaction, which I always thought was kind of cute. Makeout is very tame and so is woohoo. I'm not complaining, it's just something I noticed when I was playing.
They really, really, really need to fix the borked routing. The foot tapping is driving me batty. I also find it kind of irritating when adult sims throw a tantrum when someone is sitting in a chair they want when there are 5 other chairs to choose from. It's like TS1 all over again.

You could then have an interaction to find out the age of close friends or relatives, then get a notice when they grow up. ;D

About the babies, the last EP for TS2 was supposed to include a couple of new items for the baby...but invariably they put it in the store and the price was pretty steep, but yes I bought the bouncy chair and a mobile toy that you placed on the floor (can't remember the name).  It was pretty cute and I loved the items.  So I guess TS2 kind of spoiled me with all it's animations for all age groups and I don't find TS3 as fun/funny...I'm sure to include all those animations for TS3 would require a very high end computer and I'm just glad mine will even play the game, but yeah I wish they did more than just be a cocoon with blinking eyes.  :P

I agree with Simbacat that there are not many interactions for teens, but it really applies to kids in general...not much to them so I don't really play families with kids.  It was fun when the kids could torment each other and give noogies.  The "goose" interaction was cute...hopefully some new interactions will be added as new EP's get released.  :)

There's some relatively new interactions between child and toddler.  The child can now give a toddler a bottle.  They can also hug and play peek-a-boo, which is completely adorable!

I would really appreciate it if there was some way to find out the age of sims that weren't in your household. Several times now I have had one of my (often young adult) sims get to know someone in the town in the hope of marrying them - they look the same age, but when they finally get married and I go to start my family, I find out that they are due to age up to elder in a couple of days time! Very frustrating, particularly if they are a female and I was hoping for several kids.
Does anyone else have this problem?
