@ PJSim, yeah the Servo's were pretty wild...took me awhile to get one and when I finally did I had so much trouble keeping her charged up  >:( .  I used her instead of the goofy nanny to watch the kids (yes, I actually had families in TS2  :P ).  However, one day my Sims husband decided to go sleep in the tent outside instead of his bed and the Servo decided to join him and when he came out he had the memory of cheating on his wife, what the  ??? .  That's why I thought they were kinda weird, but they kept the house pretty clean.   ;)

Giggles, HelenP quite understandable...I don't care for vacuuming either, but if they gave my Sim a "roomba vac" ehh...well then maybe.  Although, as I recall TS2 did have that robot vac you could make to suck up any messes on the floor!  ;)  Maybe they will give us our Robots again!  :D

They were extremely weird. As I recall Servo would always be hitting on my Sims and if they were married there would be jealousy and all kinds of mess! :o So I usually made a second Servo so they could be a couple. Kinda creepy actually. :D

Oh right, I forgot about those. They would always malfunction and vomit garbage all over the house! :o :D

LOL, yes PJSim those little buggers  had that unfortunate malfunction... :P .  Which certainly made you wonder if they were worth the bother of having them at all!  ;)

Robots hittin' on the Sims? That is crazy. That's something I don't remember seeing from Sims 1. Was that just a Sims 2 feature? I would have loved to seen that, but never played Sims 2.

Oh, by the way, PJ, congrats on the promotion!

In Sims 1 the Servos were just really expensive robot butlers. When they were done cleaning they would go back in their closet until you woke them up again.

But in Sims 2 they became more like other Sims except they didn't eat or sleep but had to recharge in sunlight. They were like a new family member, you could control them like any other Sim, they could talk, look after the kids (if you want to let a weirdo robot do that...), all kinds of stuff. I think they could even have jobs. But when you didn't keep an eye on them they would act really weird sometimes. Like hitting on everybody. :o
So you either had to keep them busy or make them a Frankenstein's bride. Then you would have two weirdos. :D

Ha, thanks. I be watching you all now. O_O

Ok, some more ideas:
-An event planner career with like 2 pathways, something like wedding planner or baby showers
-More emphasis on babies and toddlers, like more funiture and other things
-More emphasis on weddings, honeymoons, and engagements

How about a Rubics cube, it could build logic and fun, maybe at level 7/8 logic you could start to solve it completely and get a 'done cube' bonus.

I personally think there should be more career options. Or more branching opportunities for the careers. And of course more interactions with the sims.

I like the idea of strollers and more interactions for babies and toddlers. It would also be fun if we had baby swings to put the babies in and be able to take them with us.

One thing about Sims 3 that really bugs me is how the sims don't seem to go anywhere together. If your sim is out somewhere and they invite another sim over, they take off running home and the other sim has to run along behind them somewhere. It's stupid! If a sim invites someone over, can't they at least give them a ride or walk WITH them?

I want more places to travel. So far, this World Adventures has been my FAVORITE expansion pack of all time! I remember back in Sims 1 when they came out with "Vacation" and it wasn't very good. I'm really enjoying WA a lot because there's so much to do.

I agree Robin, it's such a shame how they just dump the babies down anywhere - very unrealistic! In a game where it is getting more and more realistic every time, you think they could at least do something about this!! lol
