Are you saying that you know for sure that a seasons EP is coming, or that you believe it's a foregone conclusion that one will be released?

I believe that it's a foregone conclusion. The success of the Sims 2 Seasons expansion is an enough base for a TS3 one to be released.

Ok, I was just checking to make sure I haven't missed something lol.  I believe it's a foregone conclusion as well.  I said the same thing about Pets for a long time and it turned out I was right.

Yep, EA is too greedy, and since Seasons and Pets were the most profitable EPs (confirmed years ago), it's obvious that they'll attempt to profit from them again... No doubt.

Here's hoping the much wanted Seasons EP has some fun holiday related things, like a x-mas tree with gifts under it your sims can open.  A bunch of random items could be gotten.  Books, toys, bikes, different skill objects and art work.  Or just simoleans.  It would be cool.  And a great soical activity.  Perhaps what is gotten being randomly picked depending on what that sim's traits and age are. 

With the gift giving feature of Generations, it does seem like a natural progression.

Oh Yeah! That sounds great! I remember in Sims 2 Freetime they added "sports", it was terrible really but the idea was there.

I totally miss basketball now.

I hope they add body piercings again. I played Sims 2 on the console years ago, and I (sort of) remember the different accessories and body piercings, along with the ability to have different hair lengths of the same hairstyle. I wish EA could add more to it.

Also, next patch: Please add more gender specific outfits for children and toddlers. I'm tired of my boys walking around in slip on girly sandals and I feel like they're a target for bullying. The only boy that doesn't seem to mind them is Juniper Belle.

I would like them to add more radio stations. It's like that the mainstream audience gets the treats, and the more underground has to deal with the custom station. Where's the metal, the jazz?! Also, if they're gonna add the metal one again, they should at least find out what metal is. Chiodos IS NOT metal.

I couldn't agree with you more Morbid, I am simply tired of the current choices.

Things like that don't get added in patches, Jeana. I believe you'll need to mess with game files (thus, mod your game yourself) in order to remove this or that outfit choice for a specific gender, as I don't believe EA will edit existing content. As it's very, very dangerous, I think you could maybe get rid of those shoes on townies with the Edit in CAS cheat, provided they are not an occult?

Ditto.  I don't know why closets didn't come with the base game.  I would be happy with carbon copies of the Sims 2 closets, just so long as there are closets.

I'm positive about this. Weather is available in fog emitters effects, even leaves falling is there. I can only imagine all the buggs it's going to bring, but it is one EP I'm waiting since since WA.

I would really like Body Piercings added to a future Expansion pack or Stuff Pack. I thought for sure Generations would include body piercings, but I was wrong. Real me has a nose piercing, (just a little dot on my nostril) and I think Sim should get one too, without having to use CC.

I make closets for sims with big houses, especially since we have the shoe rack and folded clothes with shelves you can put on the wall.   The only thing they can't do in my closet is woohoo.

Seasons, I'm assuming here, is coming next year.  I'm already cringing thinking about the bugs that are gonna be in that one.  Making it snow, rain or hail on one lot is one thing, making it snow, rain or hail on a whole town is going to be some feat.  I'll not be surprised if seasons doesn't make an appearance in sims 3, at all.  Thinking out loud is all.

Ha, yeah, that's exactly what I've been thinking ever since Sims 3 came out. Weather was one of my favorite things in Sims 2 but I just don't see how they can make it happen without killing our computers.

You guys know Seasons/Weather is on the Wii right? I don't see any reason why they wouldn't include it on the PC. I'm sure Seasons will have upgrades (besides the moodlets) like making Snowmen into a new occult, that could be intractable to the Kids and Kids at heart. Or the childish and the kiddies can make snow angels. However, I would love Sims to bring back aliens. Maybe a Sim could go missing by an alien abduction? (That's what happened to Bella Bachelor years later) That was my favorite thing in Sims 2 and that's what I remembered most. Green Blue and Red skins aren't the same. Also, I remember body piercings and being able to have the same hairstyle but in different lengths, and you would have layered outfits that would include a jacket. (I mostly played Sims 2 on the console up until recently). Aliens should have special powers too.
