I want kids and kids at heart to jump on the bed and the couches again. Remember when they used to do that in Sims 2?

Yep! I so used that feature when I used to play the Goths. Not with Alexander, but with Cassandra. ;D

You know I wish you could still contact your children while they're in boarding school. Their picture will be grayed out obviously, but why can't Renee Littler have the ability to pick up the phone and check up on little Deidre? Same with the parents. They should contact their kids maybe once on a free vacation. Also, I wish there was a way Sims could move to or visit another near town like Riverview and Barnacle Bay or Bridgeport without losing data.

I believe some of these features are scheduled to be added in TS4. :) (speculation, speculation, as always)

I would really like children and toddlers to have more gender-specific clothing options. I'm sorry but I think EA was a bit lazy when meshing the young Sims outfits. I know their bodies are the same, but I don't think the boys appreciate the pink slip on sandals with the flower on it that my computer game gave them (the only one that actually would is Juniper Belle). I highly doubt the girls like the brown and orange jackets too. Those jackets look odd with their hats that has the giant daisy. I want more leopard printed options too. Girls need a leopard printed outfit.

You can use CreateAStyle to add a Leopard print, I think there are some in Leather and Furs.

You probably won't even believe me, but TS2 was buggier than TS3 for me.

I'm not going to say I don't believe you, because I've heard that far too many times for there to be nothing to it.  The same game will run differently on different machines.

I just find that odd because once patched (several times), I didn't have a lot of bugs in TS2.  The occasional glitch and the stupid way certain things in the game worked that drove me crazy (like time on community lots) aside, that game worked great.

I'm guessing that if I had sims 2 it would be buggier than my sims 3 because I am one of the lucky ones with no bugs (at least that I've found).
What I want in future sims is a surfing skill (okay, I just watched the movie soul surfer). That would be really cool and they could make a career/profession around it.

I want more usefulness of the beach.  Ability to surf, have some beach volleyball, build sandcastles anywhere, oh, and bury you little brother in the sand.  I also want more outdoors toys like the baseball and football.  Like a soccer ball.  Logic dictates that Pets will come with a Frisbee for playing with your dog, and hopefully other Sims.  But also tennis might be fun.  Perhaps being able to get a group of Sims together and play an actual game of baseball or football, instead of just two people throwing a ball around.

Hosfac, imagine the whole sims 2 set of games being installed, with incorrectly done uninstalls and reinstalls every time a new expansion pack came out, on a computer that had never been cleaned or maintained, below the minimum requirements and being played on all the time. Then you will understand how buggy my sims 2 was, and how it quite literally destroyed the system of my first computer beyond repair.

Sims 2 was never buggy for me, the only thing wrong was Loading Screens and only after Sims 3 came out realising my PC had a low RAM to what the later EP's needed. So yeah it does depend on the Computer, Sims 2 wasn't buggy for everyone.

Oh Yeah! That sounds great! I remember in Sims 2 Freetime they added "sports", it was terrible really but the idea was there.

I never had any bugs at all with Sims 2.  And my game definitely wasn't patched up, because I didn't have internet at the time.  Now I have Sims 3, and internet, and every time I patch up, I seem to get more bugs.  If it wasn't for the long load times every time my Sims went anywhere, I might go back to Sims 2 just to have a game that works properly.

The sims 2 bugs didn't hit me til after Apt Life, then on only one huge lot I had built luxury apts on.  Other than that I never patched cause there was nothing to patch.  Ah, the days!  I would go back to s2 but wouldn't be able to handle no CAS, no seamless neighborhoods, no traits, nah, I'll deal with the bugs and glitches and their workarounds. :D

I would give just about anything, including my right arm if EA would just include slow dancing in any ep/sp/store item.  Swimming in the ocean and beach activities like sunbathing and digging in the sand follows a close second.  With all the beaches in EA's worlds, and everyone else's that make worlds, this is lacking somehow.  Who doesn't swim and sunbathe on the beach? :-\

Actually, I used to patch my game... My mistake!

I think this will be added in a future seasons EP (which will definitely, no doubt, be released), so we at least have a hope. ;)

There were a number of nasty bugs in the Sims 2 that patches corrected, one in particular that I remember is how sims would constantly look out the window at the weather.  They even would get up out of bed in the middle of the night to look out the window if it was raining or snowing.  This was particularly bad for vampires who (as I recall) had to sleep during the day.

Of course, even unpatched the Sims 2 had nowhere near as many bugs as the Sims 3 has fully patched.

I think this will be added in a future seasons EP (which will definitely, no doubt, be released), so we at least have a hope. ;)

Are you saying that you know for sure that a seasons EP is coming, or that you believe it's a foregone conclusion that one will be released?
