I want... more cheats. The boolProp cheats from TS2 had so many possibilities, and the testing cheats of the third series is just not enough.

Also, I know this has been a subject of argument before, but we definitely need more craziness in this game, too. Witches, zombies, werewolves, superSims -- they need to make a comeback.

I definitely want magic again. It was one of my favourite things in TS2. Just imagine Vita Alto cackling maniacly around her cauldron. I think the idea will sell. ;)

If we could summon black and unholy legions from the depths of Hell to reign with brimstone and fire over the town, then I'd love it.

Something that I thought of the other day when a family I was playing needed only a few thousand simoleons to buy a new house I had built for them...a loan system.  I'm not sure if this would even be plausible, but it would be great if sims could go to the bank and get a loan. It could be set amounts, so 500, 1000, 5000, 10,000 etc. so that payment amounts would be set as well.  When they have to pay bills, they would simply pay an additional loan payment of X amount until the loan was paid. Or perhaps it could be more like the rent system from the Sims 2 Apartment Life.  It would be a way for Sims to get extra cash without having to cheat.  And add some realism to the game.

I like the rent idea. Like, you rent out a bedroom in your house and then other sims that you don't control come in to live there for a predetermined amount of time. (is that how it worked in sims 2?)

I wasn't thinking so much in the lines of renting out rooms (though that would be cool) so much as if you were paying a mortgage (rent) to the bank.  If I recall correctly, in the Sims 2, when you lived in an Apartment, you had to pay rent weekly, the amount depending on the size of the apartment/furnishings, rather than paying one lump sum for the home/apartment. I figured a similar system would work for loans, the amount you pay being determined by the amount borrowed. So, for example, your Sim borrows $10,000 from the bank and then pays 5 $2000 installments, once or twice a week.  Something like that anyway.  Not sure if I am explaining myself well.

Renting out rooms reminded me, though, that I wouldn't mind the uncontrollable roommates from Apartment Life to make a return.

you realize the game would be M for Mature right?

Jeana, in New Zealand, you're not allowed to buy Sims EP's until you're 15. They're rated "M". (You can buy them with your parent/legal guardian next to you, however.) Mainly due to WooHoo.

Nice idea, Lynley.  With your borrowing idea, one could get additional funds without resorting to cheats.  I'd bump it up a notch and include interest.  Borrow $10,000, pay back 6weekly payments of $2,000.  Miss even a single payment and here comes the repo man (or woman).

As for me, I have an idea I'd like to see implemented:  a larger radius for seeds.  Collecting seeds is tough because they are so difficult to target.  I wish I could click sort of *near* the seed and have that click register.

Going with Lynley's idea what about a Savings Account for Children and Teens to save money they earn from Cake Sales or Part Time jobs, so then they can use that later on if they move out or something.

Or stocks. You could even make it rich or lose everything.

Werewolves are coming back this EP with Pets. I agree with the boolProp cheats from TS2. I really miss having the modder. Maybe EA could bring this back in a future patch, but upgrade it? Like it could be in the form of a teddy, and you could set the relationship, and the relationship level: Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Husband, Wife, Fiancee, Enemy, Friend, Best Friend, etc.

(Did Carl play Sims 2? I can't remember, I know our Moderators played Sims 2, and Pam is a Sim Newbie who hasn't played. The reason why I mentioned this is because I don't want anyone to think this is going against the forum rules. The Modder was a boolProp cheat, to those who didn't play the previous Sims games that set the relationship level between two Sims and could make vampires and celebrities, etc. I know some forum members only played Sims 3, and not the previous 2 Sims games, so I want to make sure this doesn't get flagged as an Inappropriate post. I know Thomas aka samoht04 suggested this a while back, and I'm suggesting an upgraded version of a previous cheat)

Jeana, the Creature is supposed to be a Unicorn for the Pets EP, no mention of Werewolves.

I miss hybrids, and I want them better done than in TS2. For example, vampire mummies could run super fast, walk normal, or perhaps have a unique lurch that is quicker than the mummy shamble, be wrapped in bandages, having glowing eyes, have fangs, have the combined super strength of both creatures, skill faster, have all the other vampire skills, the mummy immunity to electricity, have no sleep or bladder needs and... be doomed around fire and the sun (which should make them spontaneously combust if they spend too long in it, because, well mummies have very fragile skin under their rags and the effects should be much worse than on regular vampires). Or even just the ability to combine imaginary friends with other occult types. That wouldn't be too difficult.

Super-something is another synonym for occult in my vocabulary.
