Needy babies were introduced with LN. I think (I might be wrong) it's simply a glitch EA hasn't fixed. Don't expect it to happen fast, however. WA still has a LOT of bugs.
Who says that the babies are manhandled? I (personally) think it's cute to see them being smothered - like the parents care.
It's not so much the babies themselves, it's more the size of the babies, that really bothers me the way they've been handled, and at Sears, on my lunch break, me and my coworkers were talking about it today. What I was getting at, was the "Play With" interaction, just doesn't look right, or acceptable to me on the babies. Plus, the way they hold the babies driving the cars, and how they leave the baby on the floor, it just looks like they're treating that poor thing like it's a dog or a cat.
Jeana, it's 3rd party if EA doesn't make it, and it's a whole new object (Not like what the Swap Shop holds). Custom skins in TS2 Body Shop can be called 3rd Party CC.
I thought it would be along the same lines, of CAP or CAW. I thought if something wasn't made from an EA program, (CAP, CAW) it would be considered third party.
@Chronic: I agree with the free favorites. Kids aren't just born with favorites you know, they develop overtime. It seems like all the premade children love kids music. Why do all babies seem to be born loving the kids station?
Plus the fact, what if the kid is a vegetarian later in life?
I think it would be neat if babies could be born with a third trait (that would be their hidden trait), and that trait could be chosen among the player.
I would love if toddlers could eventually push the person trying to pick him/her up away, or fight, scream, cause a meltdown or throw a temper tantrum, when being picked up. Maybe whenever they're about to be picked up, the toddler (particularly the grumpy ones and the loners), would be able to click on the adult, and have the option to resist, or ask to be put down, particularly grumpy and loner tots.
I think earlier in this thread, someone wanted a "Start Crying" interaction for toddlers. I think along with "Start Crying" they need a "throw tantrum" with it too. The "throw tantrum" could be particularly even more useful for evil and grumpy toddlers.
