You can do this if you organize it right. Pick up the baby (either infant or toddler), click to sit on the couch, click to watch TV. The only drawback is that it does nothing for the baby. The social need drops unless your Sim is doing something active with the baby, like snuggling or tickling.
I know that. I wish that the mommy or daddy could actually feed or snuggle the baby while sitting down. I find it kind of silly that they have to stand up in order to tend to the baby. Millions of parents do it in real life, so Sims should be able to too.
Also, what about letting children hold their baby siblings when sitting down, and it could increase the relationship between the siblings? That's another real life thing I wish EA could bring back. I wish children could pull the latch on the crib and let the toddler out. I wish my toddlers were more naughty too. They need to pull hair, draw on the walls, make messes, and climb on things. I mean taking care of a virtual toddler, as hard as it is, it's almost
too easy, and unrealistic. I need a challenge.
I think a Superhero themed Stuff Pack is a must. I wish my Sims could have superhero capes and leotards. That's a must have wardrobe especially for insane Sims. It could make a great story for this thread, and more amusement in my games.
