Future Sim Improvement Ideas

I think my Sims should be allowed to enjoy cookie dough, as well as cake and brownie batter. They should get the sweet tooth moodlet Tommy suggested, but also, get sick if eating too much. If I can eat batter and dough in real life, and love it, my Sims should too.

I would like to see something like a custom picture folder that the sims could pull pictures from when painting.  I think it would be nice to have your sim paint a portrait of your family, your pet, etc. that you could hang in your sim home.

Oh yes! I want my Sim to paint a portrait of my cat.

EDIT: I want to see the following desserts added to the Sim menu:
-Cupcakes
-Brownies (I think Teens-Elders should learn to make them on the big stove)
-Dirt Cups (a quick meal, kids can prepare by themselves)
-Blondies (they're yellow cake-like brownies)
-Cakes other than birthday cakes.

If I missed any desserts on the list that should be added to the Sim Menu let me know. Also, I think our Sims should be able to lick the spoon/bowl, of batter and dough of the following desserts I listed above, and get sick from eating too much, (Nasous moodlet: X isn't feeling so hot. You might want to keep him/her near a bathroom *from too much batter/dough* Sugar Rush, and Great meal)

Back to my cake idea. I think that fruit cake should be included, as a dish your Sim at a high enough cooking level can serve to their enemies, or townies they just don't like that are elderly snobs and/or adults or younger for whatever reason, since fruitcake is the most despised cake in real life. Elders (minus elderly snobs) can get a positive moodlet and enjoy fruitcake. So for elderly Sims, it could be their own little meal, they can enjoy and get a positive moodlet, the same way as adults or younger enjoy the Pemmican dried food: They will get a positive moodlet from eating the fruitcake, while the elderly snobs, and adults or younger (of all traits), will get a negative moodlet from eating fruitcake.

I'd like teens to be able top have crushes on YA sims. I don't mean actual romantic relationships between two life stages, just a cute crush.

I'd also like to see TestingCheats improved to the quality it was in Sims 2 - Tombstone of L & D, Badge Juicer, Sim Modder (not what you think; it was a cheat object, shaped like a doll, which allowed you to set skills, relationships, vampire status, etc.), Chance Card Tester... the possibilties filled up about 3 pie menus!
I might just play Sims 2 just to get that.

Seabody, I agree with you. I miss those too. I wish there was a cheat to access the full CAS, not just the hair, makeup and outfits. I'd like to give some of my Sims fake orange tans once in a while, along with some plastic surgery.

Crushes between two child sims is perfect. Perhaps, they could kiss each other and be "boyfriend and girlfriend" or girls can chase the guy they have a crush on. Since Sims 3 is actually the prequel to the Sims franchise, it would be especially cute to have little Bella chase Morty around, and have Morty get grossed out by it. I think the "boyfriend and girlfriends'" parents, friends, peers, and siblings should tease them about it, and they would be romantic interests, perhaps, boyfriend and girlfriend when they get older.

Kids can have "crushes" on each other (like in TS2, if somebody remembers that) and kiss on the cheek instead of all the mushy stuff. Kids having boyfriends/girlfriends (by the way, for some reason kids at my school have boyfriends/girlfriends...yet they are 11 years old) doesn't sound...great to me. Then when they age up they can move on.

I agree: a variety of cakes would be great. You can't even CAS on the regular cake to make the frosting a different color.
By the way, with Ambitions kids can bake brownies in the oven, but yeah, adult-version is way better than something baked in an easy-bake.

I missed all the cheats that TS2 had, too. The townie gun and stuff was so cool.

The Townie Gun spawned townies, if I remember correctly. I was just playing TS2, and there were a HUGE number of options with TestingCheats. If you're reading this EA, please broaden the range for TestingCheats!

I really want all the towns in one save file. Like in one save file you have a family in sunset valley. A daughter moves to a bridgeport in the same save file. The mother can get on a train to bridgeport and visit her daughter. All the possible towns you have are in one save file and you have so much more options. That would be awesome!

That would be so awesome! We can visit places like France and China, so why not Bridgeport or Twinbrook.
