Samoht that button idea is brilliant. There's been a few times I've wanted that and a button to put all garden items away etc.

I've often thought I wanted the launcher split up into anal ocd organization for my store buys. I hate how hair, clothes, sims, pretty much everything is lumped together. Also, I wish there was settings for Vampires. If you have the Plasma club in your town pretty much Vampires appear to be the majority of the town. I'd like to see balance there.

However it would probably just say that all Mods are harmful because it changes stuff in the EA files.

Most mods these days don't actually change EA files intentionally.  They simply override them, and thus can usually be removed safely.  The big problem is with the mods that inject interactions (i.e. add interactions that don't exist in the base game):  if anyone in the town is engaged in one of these interactions at the time the mod is removed, the game will crash when that save is loaded.  But the deeper the mod interferes with the basic game functions, the more likely it will be to corrupt the EA files, and that's what makes them so dangerous.

If you have the Plasma club in your town pretty much Vampires appear to be the majority of the town.

Vampires have nothing to do with the vampire lounges.  I'm playing my Dynasty in Barnacle Bay without any of the Late Night clubs, and there are a lot of vampires.  This is all done by story progression.

Modifications are not a joke. When used incorrectly, you can cause serious damage to your game.

Okay, back on topic. You know what I would really like to see? Teens having their own highschool cliques. It would be neat to have cheerleaders, glee kids, jocks, nerds, plastics, etc. So many premade townies, could be used within certain cliques based on their personalities/traits. Maybe the high-school, could provide after school activities, that could appeal to our teenage Sims based on their traits. (Virtuoso Teens, join the marching band, or choir, Artistic Teens can join the art club, charismatic teens, could join debate, athletic teens could join a sports team, Genius or computer geeks, can appeal to the Science club etc.) Teens can get a part time job, why not have them join after school activities? Even have their own cliques?

I want my toddlers to have their own set of toddler like mean interactions too.

No one said they were a joke?

I know this is true to real life and all but the trouble with opening that doorway is that it might get the Anti-Bullying Organizations in a fuss, the amount of times my school has had the talk about ignoring social groups. It's a cool idea about the joining clubs though!  ;)

Lol, I would want 'Start Crying' as one so they can wake everyone up, perfect for Evil Toddlers!  ;D

The "Start Crying" interaction is perfect. *Sigh* if only it existed.

I'd also like to see a toddler climb out of their high-chair, and on the counters. I think it would be amusing to see them break a few valuable items too. ;)

In Sims 2 I think if they could Walk then they could climb out of their Cribs, I thought that High Chairs are supposed to have straps to hold them in though?

They could. Many times I've played Sims 2 to see toddlers randomly in the house and thought, " I just put you to bed!"

Back on topic...Tears of Jade and I often joke that there needs to be a paper bag over the head hairdo. For ashamed sims or just ones you can't bear looking at.

Modifications are not a joke. When used incorrectly, you can cause serious damage to your game.

They cause serious damage to people's games even when they are used correctly.  The question is hardly the user's knowledge of using them:  it's the maker's knowledge of making them.  Even the most knowledgeable mod creators will admit that there are workings in the game that they do not fully understand.  I like to know how things work, and to this end, I've spoken with several of the more popular creators asking questions about the inner workings of the game.  Since they've peeked at the code, they tend to know things that aren't immediately apparent when you play.  Anyone I've spoken to has said that there are many things that they haven't figured out, and aren't likely to.  As a result, even the most perfect mod made by the most knowledgeable creator carries with it an inherent risk when it's used.  And just because they haven't yet, doesn't mean they never will.

Sorry for the off-topic, but that statement needed serious clarification for public record.  This is exactly why this website does not endorse mods, or permit them to be endorsed.

On-topic:  I don't recall toddlers being able to crawl out of cribs in the Sims 2.  But it's been quite a while since I've played it, so it's very possible that I just don't remember it.  I have no small amount of experience with the use of high chairs, and yes, they do have straps to hold children in them.  And as anyone who has ever fed a child in a high chair can tell you, using those straps is a necessity because a child could get seriously injured by attempting to get out of one.  With a baby in the seat, they are extremely top-heavy and can easily tip over and injure the child.  So a child crawling out of a crib, yeah maybe (but if they don't, I can understand why they don't).  Crawling out of a high chair or on the counters?  No way.

But I do like the idea of a "Start Crying" interaction.  :P

I also don't remember toddlers crawling from crib but I do remember bathing them, newborns in sinks and toddlers in bath tubs. And in RL toddlers can get rid of the strapes on high chairs, and climb up on counters and many other dangerous things- I have one of those.

Again, I'm missing the weather and flowers, in Generations it seems children would be able to pick flowers and gave them as a gift which is great, hopefully childlish adults will be able to do the same. Maybe adding hobbies too, there used to be secret exclusive places and more options as interest increase, and that was very interesting to pursue.

But first, solve the WA bugs already. Just to travel with joy not fear, get adventures when you want them, excavate where you're suppose to, and no mistery children/dissapearing Sims/cloned Sims. Maybe add more nice gems and to unlock that star shape cut finally!

I wish toddlers who knew how to talk can chat with other toddlers and with children. I also miss the "ask for food" interaction with toddlers and how they used to be able to have interactions with other sims.

I think toddlers should do really naughty toddler like things. They need to destroy their parents' furniture and books, clog up the toilet by clogging things, draw, scribble, and make messes all over the wall, bite, hit, pinch other toddlers, even pull other toddler's hair, steal other toddlers' toys, etc. Toddlers are too innocent.

Also, how about freeing our pregnant Sims. Let them use the treadmill (real life pregnant women are allowed too, at a slow pace), explore catacombs, and change their hair color.

The drawing and scribbling I could live with. The rest... I hope it's not included in Generations!

Pregnant Sims can't change their hair colour?
Is this because of genetics?

Probably not.  From what I can tell, most of the genetic aspects are decided at least when the baby bump appears, if not at conception.  Plus, I don't think changing hair color has a direct effect on genetics.  I've changed hair color before, and I've never been able to breed in a color that wasn't in the gene pool to start with.

The hair color is chosen randomly by the game from default colors in CAS. I've had bright red headed Sims, but none of their children got their hair color. Most likely because I didn't save the color in CAS.
