Yes, the Mach 12 learning rates for vampire children is obviously a bug, and with any luck the Generations patch will fix it.  But by the looks of what Generations has to offer, sim children will have plenty to do (finally).

Another thing I'd like to see is "The Sims 3 Body Shop". Just like the Sims 2 equivalent, we'd be able to make simple "Custom Content" (I guess), but I'd like EA to make sure that the "CC" is harmless. I don't want to get BS, create a skin tone, then have it severly corrupt my game.

And... Create a sim from people! You can upload a picture of yourself, and the game will sim-ify that for you!!! For instance, if I have the nose of Arlo Bunch, then uploading my picture would create a sim like me with Arlo Bunch's nose.

Actually, the feature will be available very soon in Sims 3. Just it's Sims 3 for Nintendo 3DS (released April 11, 2011).

For real? That is awesome! I could actually Simfy myself perfectly for a change lol. I have such problems doing that!  ::) But it's only for Nintendo?  :( I have the PC version.

I would like to be able to place items in different positions on a wall so you could have pictures or certificates running at a angle like this for example.

A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.

That's another thing I forgot to include in my previous post about this issue. Being able to move windows/curtains/mirrors/certificates/etc. up and down a wall would be fantastic. But I guess the creators of the Sims 3 are too lazy to add the same capabilities we have for paintings onto those other things.

Another thing that would be nice is the ability to place pictures anywhere along the wall. Like have an alt-key function (like we have for placing objects on the ground/floor) so you can place them at any position along the wall you want.

@Esther, I doubt it will be added to the PC version ever, unfortunately.

That would be sweet. Perhaps, a simplified way to create your sim-self. However, I would personally get bored with it, as it would eventually suck the fun out of CAS.

In terms of uploading CC, you know how you scan your computer for viruses? How the computer will conduct a "weekly scan" that will detect worms? I think maybe The Sims 3 Launcher, where you download your CC, should have their own little version of that. In simple terms: there needs to be a "scan" option, that will detect any bugs and threats, associated with your corrupt items, and any items detected as a "threat" will simply be removed safely. Just like you would on your PC. I find myself constantly feeling the need to test my CC and have passed out from exhaustion looking for that corrupted item. The CC detector would eliminate mutated children and toddlers.

I agree. I find playing my Sim-self to be somewhat boring anyway, so I don't feel a real need for it. Also, the whole converting a picture to a Sim would only happen maybe once or twice, which would be a total waste of hard drive space and effort. It would also be weird because I can just imagine people Googling images of people, saving them to their computer, and then creating Sims of these people. I feel uncomfortable just thinking about that!

Yes... I suppose privacy could be breached. I know a couple of place's with Leto's photo, for instance, so he could be angry that I could be creating him.

I think in CAS you should have the option to add extended family members, without having to add immediate family members. Like you can make two sims living together and list their relationships as cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma, grandpa, not just brother, sister, mom, dad, husband, wife, fiancee, boyfriend, or girlfriend.
Well this can be done... kinda.  Just make a Sim that acts as the appropriate link, then remove the middle man in game.

Sort of like... make a child, then make his dad, then make his dad's parents.  Unperson the dad and you have a child living with his grandparents.

Oh, sweet irony, deliver me from coincidence.

Please feel free to utilize any of my builds in any of your stories and so forth.

I've done that when making me and my cousin as Sim's but it's just kind of pointless and too much of a hassle you know. I think it would be much simpler to have an elder and a child to just be labeled as grandparents, without having to add the parents, adding cousins without adding, two adult-elder siblings, and parents.

You know, I think it would be helpful if The Sims 3 Launcher provided us with an Adware/Norta-Track type of feature, that would scan any third party CC, as well as "modifications," as well as the backup files, found in the DC Backup folder. Any third party content that the launcher detects as harmful, would automatically be safely removed from the game, along with the DC Backup files. Anytime you download anything from the exchange, the launcher would scan, detect and safely remove the corrupted CC. Also give you a pop-up message "the following items were detected as harmful, and safely removed from your game." Provided with a list of those harmful third party items, that were considered harmful, and therefore removed.

That would be nice. However, you could see something as cool, but the launcher sees it as harmful. For instance, you could see CC1 as cool, but the launcher sees CC1 to be harmful. Therefore CC1 is removed.

I'd like to see a cheat to alter the quality of plants. It's annoying only getting deathflowers as perfect (through cheating). It'd be nice to Ctrl+Sift+Click to select plant quality.

However it would probably just say that all Mods are harmful because it changes stuff in the EA files.

I would like to see a Button that moves all furniture into the Family Inventory, if you wanted to rebuild a house but keep the furniture and the same lot and you are not allowed to move then it would make it all so much easier.
