Another random thought - ability to expand lot size up to 100x100 or more for some amount of money.
@Jancy, that would be very cool!

@TheChronicR that would also be great,  I would love to be able to purchase more lot area or the ability to expand our current lot.
Another thing I would love to see is different Frames for Paintings the Sims do. The same frame on all their paintings are so boring. I would love to be able to choose a different style frame and add my own color or pattern.

I think that we should have Beaches back, I used to love building proper Sea Side houses and then having my sims swimming all day and night and it was awesome.  :D

Yeah, sims need to be able to swim in oceans and ponds! That's usually the whole point of going to the beach!

I want lot sizes that make sense!  Really, EA?  Really?  A lot size 60x60 that has a building on it and NO lot that size you can place anywhere?  I get so tired of these off sizes when you want to place a building/lot somewhere and have to go with the next biggest lot, and then have the building look weird because it's in the middle of this huge, expanse or worse, has that caved in or built on a ledge look.  Consistency would be great, so if you're going to build a place that's 50 by 20, we should be able to either adjust our lots to that size or have that size lot available.  (that was a random, not real, selection of size)

And at the store, what's with doing the job half way?  If you're going to do something that invokes an era or a special time/place, (Mardi Gras things forinstance and Roaring Twenties), do it up proud and do it all.  Make it separate sets if you must, like the ones for the fairies, (which also needs more stuff), but do it right and give us the whole shebang.  In the twenties stuff the guys get a vintage bathing suit but not the gals.  What's up with that?  But then, the guys don't get really cool, authentic to the era, daily wear.
Better yet, make SP's that are like that.  Yes!  OL is fine but how about era/special times SPs?  A Winter Holiday Sp complete with snow, (I hated Seasons for the most part but really didn't give it much of a chance), A Mardi Gras sp complete with wild costumes and New Orleans type houses, a Fairyland SP,  O!M!G!, a Lord of the Rings type SP!
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

I completely agree that we need swimable beaches.
They were so cool!

If the next ep is Seasons: what about a gardeners' club (like the book club, that's available only through Bookworm trait) which would send you like 10 random (even special ones) seeds by mail each week? Of course, for a one-time membership fee of 250$ or less. Thoughts?
That would be great! I loved the Gardening Club in the Sims 2.
And getting random seeds via mail would be a real suprise each time.

Awww! Someone likes toddlers  ;) And yeah, some things make no sense. If you had commitment issues, wouldn't you be happy about breaking up with your girlfriend or wife?

Personally, add pets and get rid of the glitches, and I would be happy. Oh, and University and Seasons expansion packs would be good. I still love TS2.

Me too, Simstar. It was a great way to keep track of a particular sim's life.

Me too! I really loved reading through them when the sim becomes an elder and has lived an interesting life... It kind of creates a biography of the sim, is he/she a terrible cook or always in a fight. Ha ha, that was so cool in TS2 :)

My favourite thing in Sims 2 was the Body Shop! Why can't we have it back? I always feel limited in my eye colours or skin tones, I used to love making shiny eyes!
