By golly I want a 'stand here and don't do anything' option on the pie menu when you click your active sim!!!

I think you can turn off free will for a selected Sim in the options menu, provided you are running an up-to-date game.

P.S.: What is 'the pie menu'?

The pie menu is the options that appear when you click on an object. (ie, a Sim or an oven)

I would just love love if they made away for us to arrange sims on our own, like we could grab their arm and move it so that it is over their mouth, and then open the mouth, raise the eyebrows, open the eyes wider, position their legs as if they are taking a step back. I'm sure that story writers would appreciate that. Maybe it could be a whole EP "Story Teller's Complete Control" as I imagine it would take a lot of coding and such, so you can't just force it upon someone who wont ever use it. And you could save your favorite poses, like pose player right?

LOL Swirl-Girl, that sounds an awful lot like Roller Coaster Tycoon! That would be a really fun idea though.

I'd like grown ups to be able to make all the sweet treats that the young children get to make in their toy ovens, like pie, cakes, brownies, etc. Perhaps Ice Cream sundae could be a new dish since we have the ice cream machine!

I don't think that'll happen, Swirl-Girl, but it'd be awesome if it did. Reminds me that I'm not using the Movie Maker cheats as often as I used to.. They're not allowed in dynasties but my legacy used to use them a lot so I'll probably start messing around with them again in that file.

Well maybe making hot fudge or bacon flavored sundaes will distract them!  Or we might as well have a Burger King rabbit hole with the ice cream maker. I received it as a gift, but haven't gotten around to using it yet since I'm in the middle of uninstall-reinstall.

From the rules for the Immortal Dynasty:

Build cheats such as moveobjects and placeFriezes are fine whenever needed. The same goes for Movie/Picture taking cheats such as hideHeadlineEffects.

I agree. I bought it in the store because I liked the idea of sims being able to deep fry (but where are the fries?) and make there own ice cream. Now I don't use them anymore. My sims will just stop any action to eat jet another ice cream... It's worse then the sprinklers!

I also recieved it as a gift and so I feel bad about not using it but it really just does not function properly. There's meant to be a fix out there somewhere that means it's treated like the microwave in that the sims really only use it when you ask them to but I can't remember where I found it.

I have the ice cream machine and the deep fryer too. I don't think my sim likes it. She always heads for the fridge. She did deep-fry ice cream once on her own, but I directed her use it and might've hit the wrong option without noticing.

You could do that with Rollercoaster Tycoon? Hmmmm. I never played those games anyways, but my cousin had School Tycoon, how many of those are there anyways?

Having gone back to my band household and the inevitable frustration of going for weeks without a gig, I REALLY wish you could get steady ones for bands like you can get for Showtime professions. I don't want to play a bunch of buskers plinking out the same boring Jam/Blues chords over and over ad nauseam. And if they do get a gig once in a blue moon, they never have an audience.

I wish that there could be foods that sims don't like.  Not like it would give them a negative moodlet, but they would just make a funny face while eating the food and act mad for a while.  And if it were a kid who got fed bad food, they would have the possibility of throwing a tantrum.  If that ever happened, I would make all of my sims hate pancakes, and then make them eat pancakes for every meal every day and watch the funy faces begin!

Unless I'm missing something (and I have played Rollercoaster Tycoon recently), you couldn't.

Sorry, but it's actually not. I asked Metro about that way back in October and he said no because of Sim Shutdown (turning off free will).
