Agreed. I think that another useful idea of a feature EA should add is an in-game scanner. Not a virus scanner for CC specifically but more for corrupt save, cache, and backup files. I'm not saying EA has to put a band-aid and make everything better. There are less tech savvy people out there, who don't know how to go through their folders and delete any corrupt files in their game.

I want parents to not autonomously punish their children. I don't like the way punishing works in Sims. It makes the game too realistic.

I would like the see a book that holds a sims memories in it. Like a Photo album that a sim can pick up and read, maybe while they are reading there will be thought bubbles to do with what the sim is looking at.

I want cushions for sofas. You should be able to pick a sofa as per normal, and then pick cushions to go on it. They would be independent objects, and could also be put on the floor and sat on. They could also be used to decorate beds. My bed in real life has three or four cushions just used decoratively so the bed looks pretty when it is made. Sim beds have always struck me as a tad bare.

I also want child sims to be able to sleep with a bear cuddled up in their arms, just like real children do.

In other words, you want throw pillows.  Those would be cool.  A blanket that sims could roll out by the fireplace to snuggle would be fun too.  It would also be cool to have free downloadable content from the store for movie posters.  maybe every month, a set that has posters for the movies coming out that month.  As well as a backlog of other movie posters.  It would be sweet to have posters for the Lord of the rings movies, or Transformers, or any other action flick.  Or ...*shivers* Twilight.

Well in order to do that EA would have to get permission to use those posters in their games.
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

I realise this.  It wouldn't be the first time they have had licenced item sets.

Yes, there have been quite a few licensed products in the Sims.  There are even a couple Simlish versions of real songs that play on the various radio stations.  I don't really know how the licensing works for them, but I'd imagine that it costs them money somewhere along the line.  It's hard to say how much they're willing to afford.

or Hunger Games for the win!

Throw pillows would be cool. That little accent those pain sofas and couchs are missing.

Yes, I do. I'm from the UK and we call them cushions.

I thought of a couple more things I would like to see added. Sims should be able to buy a DVD player, and various movies on DVD (maybe linked to the film career in LN). The whole family could sit down and watch the latest blockbuster! I would also like it if TVs could be placed in different places rather than just on the floor or wall. You could have them on kitchen counters, or perched on top of furniture like a desk or shelving.

I wish we could adjust the height of taking photographs. I mean how many photographers only take pictures standing straight up and never crouching/bending down for a better angle?

I hope this doesn't sound too silly, but the human traits, Loves/Hates the Outdoors, should also be a pet trait exclusively for cats. It could really define whether a cat is an indoor or an outdoor type, just like the real world. I could see them getting that mood benefit from being in or outside, like their owners do. Perhaps they can supposedly get along with Sims that have the same trait, same way supposedly a clueless pet gets along with absent minded and easily impressed Sims, as well as nervous horses supposedly get along with Neurotic Sims.

I just thought of this.  What about a game programer career?  It would be so neat to be able to create video games.  It would be like the novels from writing were each type of game would show as the same even if it had a different title.  It would be a nice career for computer whizzes.

I would love to do that. As a kid (like 5) my dream was to be a worker at Nintendo. Then a magazine I read called Nintendo Power released an article called "Do you have what it takes to be a programmer?" and it smashed my dreams into the dirt.
...Still keep my hopes up, though. :)

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Lol I see it now:  your Sims design their own Sims game, and suddenly your Sims are playing the Sims, too!  Reminds me of a comedy video I saw a while back about a proposed video game called "World of 'World of Warcraft'" where you play a guy who plays World of Warcraft.

Thank you Zap.

@Hosfac: On Free Time, I remember that Rod Humble made himself into a Sim, and delivered computers to people, so the Sims player could preview Sims 3. I think it would be cool if Showtime, or the expansion pack after that could give us some sort of in-game preview to Sims 4, or any Sims Spinoffs/Stand Alone games.
