cndneh, if you have a particular world in mind, I could give it a go - though it depends I guess if you want it for free play or for challenges, as you can't use non-EA games for our challenges. I'm currently working on a mini modern island, but I'm nearing completion for that project, so when I'm done I'd be happy to give it a go. I could make it blank with roads and spawners, and leave it up to you to put the trees - or I could do all that and just leave blank lots - you'd have to specify what lot sizes you need.

Wow!  you would do that!!! that be so awesome!  I hadn't thought about specifics since I was still in the scheming stage.  One of the posts in the building section had a hobbit home, which lead to LotR which in my mind led to a medieval world.  Of course putting the Sims Medieval map together in a Sims3 playable world would be awesome.  Or building a world that looks like Middle Earth would be awesome as well... :D

This is so exciting!  I will defiantly work on specifics and take you up on this!  Of course if there are blank world requests already then I will get in line!

I understand the free play/challenges thing.  This would defiantly be free play, and a small/medium world would be great, large takes too long to load and then my computer gets all grumpy.

*insert jumping for joy emote!*

:)

It would be awesome to have new travel destinations.  Not necessarily for new adventures, but just to be able to travel to.  A sims version of Disney World would be sweet.

I would like to be able to place larger lots down on smaller ones. Yes, smaller ones. It would work like cropping a photo. You move the 'photo' around with the little hand in the area to be cropped, until you are happy with what will be kept, and then click ok, then get the 'are you sure you want to do this?' kind of message.

And an option of where you want your smaller lots to be placed on bigger lots. A drop-down box for centre, top centre, bottom centre, and corners would do the trick, combined with current rotation abilities.

If I'm willing to pay $20 for a new town, I would definitely pay that much or similar for, say, three new vacation destinations.  I'd love to see a jungle/beach island and also a log cabin-esque destination like Three Lakes from TS2.  Maybe a polar destination?  I'd also love to see destination-specific wildlife.

Oh, and a four foot tall chain link fence.  I have one around my backyard and the number of other households in the U.S. who also do must number in the millions.  Why is the only one in the game like eight feet tall?   ::)

I blame the movie I was just watching for this, and if I ever get Sims Medieval I am totally naming my knight in honor of it.

I demand shrubbery! <insert dramatic music>  And....more shrubbery!!

Or at least, more flower boxes of different flowers.  I remember in sims1, you had flower boxes/patches you had to water regularly or they would die.  It would be cool to bring that back, along with the gardener NPC.  They wouldn't be able to harvest your plants, just water and weed them, maybe fertilize them with base level fertilizer, but it would be nice to have them sometimes.  Or if they did harvest them, there was a spot, either directly to the fridge, or a basket that acted like a treasure chest that the produce the gardener harvests automatically goes to.

I would quite like to see fun fairs in TS3. Our sims could go on the big wheel and on roller coasters. :D

Does unlocking the hairstyles still mean you have to wear the same one with all the everyday outfits?  I didn't think was the case.  If you go to a mirror and Change Appearance, then unlock the hairstyles, I think you can have a different hairstyle for each outfit.  It's a bit of a bother because you have to change into each outfit and go back to the mirror while wearing each outfit to change the hair that goes with it, but I believe it can be done.  I need to check on this.

Yes it is possible. That's how I change hair styles for outfits, because some clothers are better with hats; etc.

Another idea- customizable windows. I want a Window Schmindow that's 2 squares long, not one! It would be quite awesome for Modern Houses to be able to create whatever you want. :D

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Agreed. I'd also like a Single Version of each Door or a Double. I find there are not many Modern Single doors without glass windows in and well that seems freaky for a bathroom?  :P

Oh and more Brush sizes for Terrain Paints with a button to erase all terrain paints as well.

Now that would be helpful. I want to select a paint, press a "Paint All" button and change the lots color entirely!

Or, for that matter, a "match terrain paint" option, especially for when you want to match what's already on the ground but can't seem to find what the designer chose.

I have to admit the interactions I've always really wanted to see are 'Rescue' and 'Carry' - like the Leap Into Arms interaction, but staying in the other Sim's arms. I'd really love to be able to see Sims carry other Sims around. I'd love to have the groom carry the bride for the photos or adults giving children piggy backs.

Mainly for story purposes, I've always wanted there to be a 'Rescue' interaction for people drowning in a swimming pool. Like begin the splashing around animation the moment the Fatigued moodlet appears or something. A nearby Sim could be clicked on and directed to 'Rescue' the sim from the pool. It would be great for stories and be a really fun animation overall. But it's probably way too complex.

Also, children should be able to ride horses - at least with adults leading them. But again, that's probably too complicated also.

I said this in another thread but I wished that the sims heights could be adjusted! I just think it would be cool to have short and tall sims walking around. Of course I know that would be a big feat for EA to make sure all the social interactions between sims worked correctly.

I also wished there could be more travel destinations, like Australia or India. :D

I do wish the hair dye would stay for a day or two, and that you could stop your sims washing it out!
