On that note, opening and closing windows would be awesome. Sims who like the outdoors could get a 'fresh air' moodlet. And if a slobby sim passes wind, the other sims could get a wish to open a window!

I could see this happening for a future EP involving sporting activities. I could see an inappropriate Sim passing wind for that matter too!  :D

Sims with the Slob trait already do this.

That is part of why I hate slob sims, and when not playing any challenges, I always kill them off.  Like that Beau Andrews guys.

I love the slob trait for challenges, then they don't spend so much time cleaning, they can lick smelly plates and eat bad food.  But in general ( If I had to choose) I would choose neat over slob anyday.

I would love to see more nursery furniture in Sims 3. I think it's awesome that they now have a baby swing in the Sims 3 store, I've been literally waiting for them to come out with it for ages! I would love to see a walker/bouncer, coloring books, mattresses and kiddie pools. Maybe some squirt guns would be really cool for another water activity for the family, especially the children and older Sims with the childish trait! Maybe I'll have Vita Alto squirt her hydrophobic husband with it to keep her happy!  ;D

With your mention of kids, Jeana, I remembered something I thought of the other day that I wish sim kids could do.  Real kids lay on the floor to do things all the time, read, play, do homework, but sim kids can't.  It would be nice, if you asked them to, that they could do their homework on the rug in front of the fire, or wherever.

Having skills that can only be unlocked by skilling two other skills. Like cooking and gardening together can unlock a specialized form of cooking.

I think the main reason they don't make much stuff for infants/toddlers is simply because they are the shortest life stages, and thus wouldn't spend as much time using them.  But I am looking forward to getting that swing.

And though kids might not lay on the floor to do homework, if there are no chairs, they will sit on the floor.

It would be nice though if you could have closets.  They would do the exact same thing as a dresser, just with a different form.  Then it would be easier for people like me that want to recreate floor plans they like of real houses.  I also want curving staircases and walls.  Not just the spiral staircases, but actual gently curving ones, like what you might see in the lobby of a fancy hotel, where two staircases come down from the second floor in graceful curves to end in the lobby.

I like closets, too.  I already make face closets by making a 1X2 room with a door and using moveobjects to place a clothing rack inside.

I don't know if anyone else has already said this, but I'd like to see another life stage between kid and teen, like a tween or pre-teen. I know this could be a hassle for EA but I think it's totally worth it. It might be really fun playing a sim going through puberty and all the awkward parts between those ages. It could make for a really fun story line.

Looking back on this I actually think in TS2 they added YA in the university Ep didn't they?
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

They did add YA for the University EP, and they could only be YA at school.  Once they came home (before, actually) they aged up to regular adults.  Adding YA to the regular life cycle is one of the smartest moves EA made with TS3, in my opinion.

I can defiantly agree with that statement since I'm a RL YA, and my age bar is just under 1/8 full. I see YA's as being 18-35 years old, and to the point where we want to move out, don't have a full career just yet, and just exploring the real world. I'd like a pre-teen stage too. I really don't agree with the age range between the real world and Sim years of a child. (5-12) I see it as 5-8.

I just thought of this, but I think animals should have more set of skills. I'd like to see them have fetching as a skill for improvement. Even for cats and horses. Yes, cats fetch too in the real world.  ;D

Something I would love, and was very surprised didn't come with Late Night, is a pooltable.  I mean seriously, what sports bar/pub is compleate without a few pool tables.  Or a dive bar for that mater?

I was thinking the same thing too. I remember nightlife having Pool tables. Something I would really love to see: more baking/cooking options for children. The toy oven is great and all, but I would love to see my children improve their cooking skills with making snow cones and slushies.
