I think EA should improve the eye colors. I mean, take Danny's eyes for example. They are light green, almost blue. They have like a little outline, I don't know how to explain, but like in the outside they have a line black and then its green and the pupile is black. Get the picture? Like 3 colors, thingy.
Yeah I wish they would do that too.
Who's Danny?

I would like an option to completely shut memories off. That means no annoying chimes and sound effects every five seconds with the Smiley faces in front of the Sims head. That always drove me nuts! The memory system was good for only one thing and that's free stuff!

I would love this, too.  My eyes are like that.  They are green but with a distinct ring of brown around the pupil. They also have a dark ring of green/black around the outer edge. It would add more realism and variety to eye colors and could make for some really cool looking sims.

@jeanamarie -  Talking about being able to shut certain features off, I would like the ability to turn off celebrity and vampirism. Either everyone in town is a celebrity, a vampire, or both.  It annoys me when I try to make a low key farming family, for instance, and they inadvertently end up 3, 4, or 5 star celebrities because their friends/bosses become celebrities.  At the very least, a suppress option (like suppress opportunities) would be nice.

Maternity Leave should only be three days total, which is about 1-2 Sim months. Instead of starting the first visible day, (second trimester), It should start the third trimester, when the mom is heavily pregnant, and end one day before the toddler birthday, when the baby is still somewhat of a newborn. That's maternity leave in the real world.

That depends on where you live in real world. Some countries have up to 2 years of maternity leaves (Austria, for example). I do agree about working while pregnant up till 3rd trimester, or at leats a choice to go to work if mother(we) want.

I'd like to see that picking flowers, and swimming in ponds and in the ocean. Curved walls and windows as they did with pools and fountains. Placing  curtains and windows on different hights, more fruits and vegetables, and some food preserving actions like making jam or something (for eco friendly and farming families) - that one will fit with seasons.

I'd like to have CAW upgraded so it can support more game features than it does now, much much more, from water features on different hights to inhabiting world, and more distant terrains!

Application by EA to make our own clothes - like Create a Clothes  :D

Couldn't agree more on suppressing the option for Celebrities and Vampires. And turning off memories. They are too far from what I was hoping for. And more detailed eye textures - that would be a nice touch!

I want a more realistic way to use money. After your sims home has been refurbished to the fullest (most expensive furniture) there is really no other way to use that hunk of cash. If only foods and other things were more expensive, or maybe an electric and water bills that are not affected by the no bills ever LFTR.

You can always buy and upgrade all the community lots. If that's not enough, you could try a challenge I suggested in the challenge thread: Start with an empty town, save for a few lots with the basic requirements (fridge, bed, toilet I think it is) and from that point forward you have to buy and develop all of the lots, including the rabbit holes, and do the architect career to build houses for other sims.

That would be cool. And it could have some sort of performance meter as well for how much the allowance is. But then, how would that make a differnence from how much money the household has?

Perhaps their 'allowance' could be measured in terms of LTR available only to kids - they could spend it on certain toy or lolly items.

I think sims should get a wallet, have the opportunity to lose it and lose money, and just keep a portion of household funds in it. They would simply buy things from the Grocery, Bistro, wherever, and pay from the wallet.
If rebuilding, everybody can contribute, by empting their wallet into the household funds. Allowance could go in a child's wallet.

The options would be "Deposit..." "Withdraw (how much money in the wallet)...".

With this we could get ATM's.

Personally, I think instead of a Sim having to hire a babysitter, they should be able to ask a family member living outside the house to watch the baby. Like Blair Wainright can call her parents Susan and Boyd to watch her baby, or Agnes Crumplebottom can call her sister Corneila so she can go to work.

It'd also be nice if teens from the Active Household could babysit.
