I just thought of something while PM'ing someone. I would like room for more traits. In real life, I have alot more than just 5!

Going on Esther's idea, I think they should have the standard 5 Traits then as they experience life and new things they earn others, so like if they are often winning games and stuff they earn the Lucky Trait. If they master any skills that they don't have the traits for they could earn the associated trait?

I love Esther's idea. About the more than 5 traits for adults. I think we need to have seven traits total: Six normal traits and one hidden trait. The hidden trait could be chosen to the individual player when the baby is born, as well as the favorites. I find it odd that a macho man is mean spirited athletic and evil but his favorite food is an Autumn Salad, his Favorite color is Pink and his favorite music is kids. ???

Maybe they are macho on the outside but all teenage girly on the inside...  :D

I agree with Thomas. Maybe he needs to discover the other side of his personality.

I also agree that there should be more slots for traits.

What about some new ideas for traits? Is there a thread for that here?

I'd like Dislikes Children and Childish to be able to coexist together. Kid at heart doesn't mean they have to want their own children.  :D

I agree with Jeanemarie

Ideas for traits, bossy, independent, gluton.

Independent is a little bit like loner, but I wouldn't have ever thought of bossy and glutton.

Should I start a new thread for future trait ideas, guys? :)

Outgoing is another trait that needs to be added to the list of more traits. I would also like to see vegan and slacker.

Original Ideas for Traits

Since on the improvement thread I brought up new trait ideas, many people have had great suggestions. I thought it to be a different topic, so I took the liberty of making a new one.

Post trait ideas here!

The opposite of the genius trait, maybe the idiot trait.

I'd like to see the vegetarian trait improved. They shouldn't have less meals, they should have the exact same amount or more, considering they can't eat the fish dishes they make. I'd also like non veggie sims to have the temporary ability to make veggie meals for housemates and guests with the trait and vice versa.

I created a new topic, everyone, so we can continue the trait discussion there.

We should probably get back to discussing ideas for improvments in gameplay, items, and the like, like Carlos just did. :)

That would be pretty hilarious to test out.

What would be some funny things a Sim with the idiot trait would do, you think?

They would learn the logic skill a lot slower. They might cook expensive meals when the fridge is filled of perfect leftovers (oh, wait, that already happens).
