Gabe, Morganna, and Peach became young adults.

There were no noteworthy events of the graduation ceremony, but Gabe did surprise everyone at the park.

Gabe: Peach, I love you.  Will you...

Peach: Oh my gosh! Yes! Yes!

Gabe: Shall we marry here?
Peach: Anything you say.

I missed the ceremony, too many tears were in my eyes.  I did however get a shot of their first kiss as husband and wife.

Congrats Little Bro!  I'm going to miss you two.

On the domestic side of things, Mom had her elder birthday.

She refused to let her hair grey.

And I'm a little worried about Sun Young.  She's been sick for days.

I hope she's ok. I don't think I could live without...

Never mind. Look's like I'm going to be a dad.  :o

Two major events and some minor ones have happened since my last post. It was Snowflake Day.

First Morganna decided to go to the Elixir Shop to entertain her fairy fancy.

She bought a bottled blessing of the fae and threw it on herself.

Then she changed her wing color somehow to green.

Sun Young painted her first masterpiece.

Later, like at one in the morning, she went into labor.

Yeah, I panicked.  She calmly went to the hospital.  I met her there and my first (and only) child was born, a daughter.  Welcome to the world, Hay Lin Lawson.

If they think they will time with my daughter, they are mistaken.  I have monopolized all the time with my little girl

[A/N] The one child thing was my doing.  After bringing up five children, I wanted a little break.

Sun Young here.  Alan (Both of them) are too inconsolable to update you.  I'm feeling pretty bad myself.  Well the period between the last post and this one started happy.  My little girl had her toddler birthday.

I think she looks a lot like me.  She's brave like her daddy and artistic like me.  From that point my Alan refused to let anyone near her, when he was home. He taught her all of her to walk.

How to talk.

Alan: Now, what do you say when a boy tries to talk to you?
Hay Lin: Tay away! Durty Twash!

And before any of us knew it, She became a child.  Alan Sr. took her to her cake.

And got dangerously close when she blew out the candles.

Now look at my little girl.  She has become quite the diva.  The first thing she did was critique her daddy's love of camouflage.  I think we have a little stylist on our hands.

Alan Sr. became and elder.

He then retired. For a full $80 a day.  Teaching is not a lucrative profession.  And Alan Jr. got promoted to Flight Officer.  New position means new uniform which means new formal wear.

Riley became a Young Adult.

At her graduation, she was voted most popular.

And then she met that Trey boy, whose last name we now know to be French, for a traditional private wedding.

And Alan Jr. and I got our 2nd degree black belts.  Symbol of a Martial Arts Master.

And Gabriel and Peach announced that they were having a baby.

Of course, thats when things went downhill.  My mother-in-law, Jane, passed away.  She was just watching a romantic movie when...

Rest in Peace Jane (Stacks) Lawson.  You were an amazing mother-in-law, mother, friend, grandmother, wife, and gardener. Your legacy lives on with your five children, Four children-in-law, husband, granddaughter, and unborn grandchild.  :'(

I know, I'm having a ton of fun with Hay Lin.  Unfortunately, the Sadness will just keep coming as Alan Sr. has a full life bar  :'(

Hay Lin here.  I wasn't quite ready to take the legacy, but Daddy was to sad from the recent events.

We found a nice place to place Grandma's ashes.

Poor Grandpa hasn't been the same.  All he does is sit with his cane and harass random passers-by.

And to make matters worse, a burglar decided to attempt to rob us.

The cops came and they broke into a fight.

Robber: Didn't your mother ever tell you not to hit a lady
Cop: Didn't your mother ever tell you a lady doesn't rob houses.

Nothing was stolen.  But still, there was a death in the family.

After that incident, I had my teen birthday.

I became very flirty.  Daddy wasn't to happy about that.  Speaking of him,  he got promoted to Fighter Pilot.  Check out his new formal wear.  So much better than that icky camouflage.

Another thing he won't to pleased about, I have a boyfriend.

That's Vincent Langreak, he was adopted by Kaylynn Langreak.  We were friends in elementary school and when he came over for our daily hangout session... you saw the picture.  :)

But that the last little ray of good news.  Grandpa died soon after.

He pleaded for more time but unfortunately was rebuffed.  R.I.P Alan Lawson Sr.. You were a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Father-in-Law, and Friend.  You set out to found a legacy in an unfamiliar town.  May all your planning not go unrealized. :'(

[A/N]  This has been one of the saddest chapters I've ever written.  Alan and Jane were a loving couple up to her death.  I couldn't find a place for this picture, but I think it works here.

We buried Grandpa not long after his death.

It was tough, knowing that we would never hear his lectures again.  But we moved on.

Mother and Daddy had their anniversary recently.

I spent that day with Vincent.  Gave them the house to themselves and saved me from having to see and hear their, um, celebrating.  :-[

Then Prom rolled around, Vincent was my date. (who else?) We had so much fun, I even got Prom Queen. (Again, Who else?) :)  Bask in my glory.

I also learned how to drive.  Check out my intense concentration.

My parents also had their Adult birthdays.

Mother has to wear those glasses most of the time now, and Daddy's hair went really grey.  :)

Speaking of Daddy, He got promoted to Astronaut.

And lastly, I had my Young Adult birthday.

My outfit is horrid, I need to use a mirror. Fast. Bye!

Ah, that's better. Now I am worthy to be seen.

My first step in Young Adulthood was simple, get a job.  I went straight to the local salon and started my trek to becoming a fashion phenomenon.

I only had one client my first day.  But mark my words soon everyone will flock to wear my fabulous designs.  On my way home I met with Vincent and his mother.  While he wen away to do something, I made my way to Kaylynn to ask a certain question.

Me: Good Evening Ms. Langreak, How are today?
Kaylynn: Vince is over there Hay Lin.
Me: Oh no, I came to see you.
Kaylynn: You are?
Me: Yes, I've come to ask for his hand in marriage.
Kaylynn: Oh of course! I'd love to have you as a daughter-in-law.
Me: Thank You Ms. Langreak.

So then I went to find Vincent.

Me: Hello Love.
Vincent: Oh. Greetings Hay Lin.
Me: I'm going to cut to the chase.  Will you...

Vincent: Don't even finish my answer is yes.  I wish you'd let me ask though.

My plans for our wedding to be the next day were interrupted by graduation.  I got voted Most Awesome.  Take that Vance Pleasant.

So my beloved and I wed the day after.  We had the wedding at the local poolside club.  Check my fabulous wedding dress

We had the ceremony,

and spent the night at the club's honeymoon suite.

Welcome to the family Vincent (Langreak) Lawson!
