My Familyfunds Code Doesn't Work

Hi.  I found a thread from 2010 regarding this subject but it didn't have a solution.  My familyfunds cheat won't work for one household.  I've tried everything I can think of.  I even evicted them and moved them back in.  Closed the game, restarted the computer, tried tying the code different ways, with caps, without caps and even copy and paste.  I use the code all the time so I'm familiar with how it works.  I went to other households and it's fine.  Is there a solution to this or will it eventually come back at some point?  Hoping for a solution.

Have you tried to change the name of the household that you're working with and see if that helps.

Are there any other families in town with the same last name as the one your using?
I tried using the cheat awhile back and I didn't get any money. But after doing some checking I noticed that all my kids that lived in town that had the same household name got the money but I didn't.

Hi Ricalynn.  I checked in edit town the bio tab for the house and sure enough there was an extra letter in the household name.  I must have hit it by accident at some point.  Problem fixed.  Thanks so much.

Grimsoul - I have also had that happen in my families and am now careful to see that the grown kids move in with someone of a different name, usually their intended spouse.

That's a good idea. I'll have to remember to do that also.
It's usually not a problem sense I hardly ever use that cheat. But I had a bug and when I got it straightened out I had lost all my purchased properties so I was going to use familyfunds to get enough money to buy them back.
That's how I found out it wouldn't work with other household in town with the same name. But my kids are in good shape for money now.
