But focusing on the story, this is the most amusing and engrossing story I have read in awhile. As such, I just spent the last 6 hours catching up on it all. But it's 8 am now, and I guess I should probably sleep.  ;)

By all means, sleep!  But thank you very much for the comment, and I hope to see you here again, melancholy_anju.  :D

I wonder why Ben hangs out with such a shifty character (Who is undoubtedly associated with ESCARGOT) so often...

Absolutely.  But given that Schipperke is also Ben's assistant, why would he keep her around if she was actually evil.  No I am certain they are just scenarios... right? :-\

Probably because the poor guy has no choice.  His watcher was assigned to him.  He has, you know, protested from time to time.  For all the good it did him.  ;)

Since these were all made up scenarios for practise for students, I'm guessing Schipperke is not really an agent of evil.

I hope not.  But do any of us really, truly know ourselves?  Maybe there's a hidden evil person within me struggling to get out.

Unless that's her cover in the spy circle. Nobody would suspect the person pretending to be evil to actually be evil, right?  ;)

Makes sense, I guess.  But I think it's a bit deep for the poor old Schipperke brain.

Oh that Schipperke...now that is a double agent if ever I've seen one. ;)

Cheers to Team Sapphire. All kudos to Raia for the great interview:). And as for Schipperke, it looks like she is double to the double, 4 times agent.

Quadruple agent?  I don't think I could handle that.  My poor brain has enough trouble keeping track of one life, let alone four!

But I agree that both Rubeus and Sapphire did a first-rate job of the interviews.  And now, it's time for (drum roll) Act III of the Evil Schipperke.  All I can say is, if you thought the previous scenarios were bad, just wait till you see what that Schip gets up to in the next one.

I like how the other teams did, though I think you'll all find Albus' just as interesting  ;D

I think they will.  And here comes Albus' interview, just as soon as I can get it posted.  :D

Schipperke strikes again!

For the last time, I promise.  Well, until next time, anyway.

Don't leave it to struggle! No! Embrace it.

Interrogation Team Assignment - A Role Play - III. Team Albus

Albus Scenario:  The company Life Everlasting, Inc. produces a range of supplements for the Elder Sim market.  Their most important product is Life Fruit Tonic, guaranteed to refresh and rejuvenate the Elder Sim.  Recent batches of Life Fruit Tonic have been found to contain death fish instead of life fruit, resulting in the premature demise of many Elder Sims who were expecting to add days to their longevity, not hasten their death.  A new hire was observed making the substitution.  B, you are the new hire.  A, you are there to interrogate B.

Albus Interrogation:

Ezagutza: "Hello there, I'll be your interrogator, I do apologize for such a dim setting.  I'll cut right to the chase,  who put you up to this sabotage?"

Coline: "Why should I tell you?"

Ezagutza: "Because I asked,  and that's  enough. Now,  who put you up to this,  and why?  Allow me to remind you that I've got nothing better to do than sit here and question you,  and once you give me the answer,  it's over. I do suggest you give me the answer."

Coline: "And what would I gain from telling you? I have no reason to tell you anything. And might I remind you that I have nothing better to do, too."

Ezagutza: *Cold and suddenly very intent* "Tell me,  do you have any family?  I'm sure they'll wonder where you are in the years to come. Do you have a favorite food? I do hope you've eaten it recently,  never again. What do you have to gain?  You can gain your freedom. You tell me and you go free, absolutely free,  I can more than convince the company to leave you alone.  You give me the names,  aliases and everything you know of those who put you up to this,  and why they did it,  and that gives us a new target to punish.  Compared to them you are but a trained monkey, but fail to answer this and I'll be your new best friend.  We have extended lifespans, I'm sure you don't want to spend the centuries with only me for contact.  I'll make sure you never emerge as long as you live.  I have no family, no one to go home to,  and to me there is no greater joy than asking questions. Weigh your options carefully,  go ahead and choose your fate."

Coline: "I have a family but I haven't talked to them in years. And are you suggesting that you would starve me? I believe that that's against my rights. You promise me freedom but you take something from me. And are you sure you can handle me? I can be downright annoying if I want to. I can drive you to insanity, if needed."

Ezagutza: *Still Cold* "Against your rights?  The company doesn't care what I do as long as I get my answers. When's the longest you've ever gone without food?
Do you like the color white?
What's your opinion on small spaces?

*Voice Rises* I want my answers,  I will have my answers!  Answers are all that matter, for answers bring me knowledge. Knowledge is all that I seek.  Do you desire money?  I have lots of it. Tell me what will get me my answers and you will get it."

Coline: "If I die, you won't get your answers. As for my opinion on the color white, I prefer it's opposite. And could this room get any brighter? You want answers, I will not give it freely."

Ezagutza: *Disgusted* "Black;  the color of concealment,  I despise it.  If I could make this room brighter, I would.*Cold again* I will offer you a deal,  and it's a final deal.  I will guarantee your lack of punishment from the company or the law,  and I will pay you 30,000 Simoleons in exchange for the identity of they who put you up to this,  and the reason.  If this deal is unacceptable, then I will extract it through my natural talent,  and while I have you, I will also make you turn yourself in.  Ensorcelment is not a fun experience."

Coline: "Too much darkness can kill, but too much light can blind. I've heard about your genie's ensorcelment, and I don't very much like prisons. If you raise it up to 50,000 simoleons then you have a deal."

Ezagutza:  You have a deal; now,  Answers.

Coline: "I am being paid by Schipperke the Mortician, who was concerned about business falling off when Elders started living longer.  Schipperke is paying me handsomely to adulterate the Life Fruit Tonic so that Elders will die sooner and help her mortician business turn a profit.  I don't care about the Elders - they're going to die anyway, right?  I just want the money."

Ezagutza: "Excellent. Expect the money soon". *Drops Act* "That's a wrap."

Oooh, that was actually rather intense! Nice work you two! ;D

And Schip...wow, death fish rather than life fruit...that is terrible!

That shows a remarkable amount of resilience from Coline to be able to hold firm against that kind of pressure. I doubt I would've lasted as long as she did. Well done to both of you.  :D

Wow. That was by far the most intense of the three. I enjoyed them all, though.

Actually, I think the fact that we don't see much of Ezagutza in a way makes him more intimidating.  The focus is mostly on Coline, as if the camera is trained on her and she's the one under scrutiny.

And I hope the readers will join me in a big round of applause for all the THBL team members!  As you can imagine, setting up the screenshots and doing all the messaging back and forth was a huge job.  The team members managed to fulfill the requirements of their assignment and at the same time, they all put their own individual spin on how to play the scenario.  Very impressive, everyone!

Instructor's comment:  What is there to say?  A+ all around!  :D

*applause, applause, loud cheering*

Joins applause.  Loud clapping from down under.  Great job by all on the scenarios.  Fascinating insight into the minds of the Sims (and the handlers) by the choice of tactics.  ;)

Anyone wanna speculate as to Ezagutza's mental condition?  :P

He reminds me of myself, but I haven't been diagnosed with anything, and I don't have any sort of constant need for information. Is it Squirt-itis?

Memory Test - Albus

The International Spy Museum's "Handbook of Practical Spying" devotes a number of pages to the importance of a spy having a good memory.  Their list of ten reasons why a spy needs a superb memory includes the following:  spies must retain an absolute minimum of written material in case they or their premises are searched; the spy must have all details of his/her cover story firmly ingrained in their mind; the spy meets many people and must store information about them; and of course, spies have to remember which switch is the rear-window defogger and which is the ejector seat.  Rule #10 in "The Ten Rules for spies" - "Upgrade your memory."

Another reason spies need a good memory is that they might be able to get a quick peek at an off-limits room or file, and so must be able to recall in detail what they have seen.

This is the assignment the students (and their handlers) received:  In the course of a THBL operation, you have managed to sneak into the house of a suspicious character.  You have only one minute to take in as many details as possible.  Memory only, please - no notes!  You are on your honour to strictly keep to the one-minute time limit.  When the minute is up, close the spoiler.  Now open the second spoiler and answer the questions.  Don't look at the memory room again until after you have answered the questions and sent me the answers!  When you have sent me your answers, you may look at the room again if you wish.

Note to readers:  I am presenting this assignment exactly the way the handlers received it, so that readers can, if they wish, try the assignment themselves.  The first spoiler will show the room, the second one the questions, the third and fourth will show the students' responses, and the final spoiler in each group will show the answers.

Each team received a different picture and different questions, so there will be separate updates for each team.  We'll start with Albus.
