He he. Kaylynn Langerak, white, cleaning. He he. Shall I reveal for the those unfamiliar with TS2?
Kaylynn grows up to be a maid, and is known to have hooked up with Don Lothario, who has quite the reputation. He was to marry Bella's daughter, and it has been speculated that he was in it for old man Mortimer's money. At that point Bella had disappeared, last having been seen on his deck I believe. I'm very caught up on the local gossip you see. (I'm bursting at the seams to speak more)

Wasn't Kaylynn also the one who Daniel Pleasant cheated on his wife with?

Spying - A People Profession.  III. Rubeus

Team Rubeus Assignment: Assignment:  Team Rubeus.  Red, the colour of passionate love, seduction, violence, danger, anger and adventure.  The very things that might cause a spy to see red!  As a member of the Red team, you are always interested in recruiting new allies.  How can you tell which SV residents might be receptive to your approach?  Simple - just get to know them, and they'll tell you of their fondness for your cause.  Your task is to find and make friends with three Sunset Valley residents who have red as their favourite colour.

Scoring:  Please record the number of interactions it took for you to become friends with each of your targets.

5.  Hazel & Handler ombradellarosa

Having been assigned to make friends with three people with the favourite colour red, I first did some research as to which Sunset Valley residents have the favourite colour red and then sought them out.

I found Nick Alto at Central Park. I was wary of him at first, knowing his Mean-Spirited trait and his wife's Evil trait, but I decided that he was safe to approach and might even prove valuable to our mission at some point. Besides, I invested the time to learn Charisma for just such occasions as these.

As it turns out, I needn't have worried. He was perfectly cordial to me, especially once he discovered we shared the Workaholic and Ambitious traits.

In fact, I was able to befriend him after only three interactions--Charming Introduction, Get to Know, and Applaud Hard Work!

I 'happened to run into' Susan Wainwright at the Bistro. She was also delighted to discover that we share a propensity for logical thought.

I played up what I had heard about her brilliance, since I knew that she was also a Snob and would love to hear about herself.

This did not go off perfectly smoothly since Gobias Koffi, who had been up to this point perfectly happy with his arms (and lips) around Holly Alto, developed a sudden case of nausea. I am unsure whether he was sent by the enemy to test whether I was truly medically knowledgeable, seizing the opportunity to meet a celebrity, or simply actually had stomach discomfort.

I pondered for a moment and decided that the most important thing was not to break cover. Besides, I had already befriended Susan Wainwright.

After scanning with some important-looking medical instruments I carried on me, I did what has been called in medical books the 'Velmoor Method', after the success of its use by Dr. Velmoor De D'Onlyn, and kicked Mr Koffi in the shin.

Oddly enough, that seemed to work. Either that or he decided that the pain was too great to keep up the charade any more.

Finally, I sought out my supervisor, Dr Geoffrey Landgraab. I was delighted to find that he had the favourite colour red, as I already intended to befriend him anyway and this was a perfect opportunity.

I found him at Varg's Tavern, a venue native to my hometown that seems to have developed into a chain. I told him how impressed I was that he cheated death every day with his innovative treatments.

Knowing his good sense of humour, I also told him a funny story about something that happened in the paediatric ward the other day and before I knew it, we were fast friends!

Report:
The following Sims were befriended by the operative with the following number of interactions:
Nick Alto: 3
Susan Wainwright: 3
Geoffrey Landgraab: 2

6.  Keira & Handler Swirl-Girl

When I located my first two targets, (Nick and V.J.) I invited them to a party along with the llama mascot from the nearby university. Both gave a fair first impression, but I am unsure about V.J.'s father, Iqbal Alvi, for allowing his son to go to a costume party, alone, that is attended by a grand total of two full grown women, and a full grown man. But I don't know the first thing about raising children, maybe this is a common practice.

At the party, V.J.'s favorite color was revealed when he complimented my costume.
"That's a very nice costume, uh, red is my favorite color."

I then went out to befriend Nick Alto, but he did not reveal his favorite color until later that night. I was sadly unable to get a quote.

The next day I tracked down Geoffrey Landgraab. I befriended him easily, and he quickly opened up.
"Red is a great color, don't you think?"

As I left I passed Holly Alto visiting the Landgraab residence, which I found suspicous, seeing as the couple had no teenagers. Only the child, Malcolm.

(The reasoning became clear later that day as V.J. and I were gossiping, he told me about the Landgraab/Alto "situation". Holly appears to be rebelling against her parents.)

As Iqbal further proved his incompetence, allowing his son to be out at all hours of the night, I finally befriended V.J. I hope I can help the boy get through life, despite his father's lax parenting.

Targets:
V.J. Alvi: 20 Interactions
Nick Alto: 18 Interactions
Geoffrey Landgraab: 11 Interactions
(Note: I did not count Introductions/Greets)

7.  John Cassidy & Handler KillCupido

After some research, I concluded, together with my handler, that the following sims would prove to be unsuspecting of me to befriend:
Nick Alto
Vita Alto
Geoffrey Landgraab

If anyone were to ask, I can always say I knew them because I taught their children. My acquaintance Jocasta Bachelor would support this theory too. Making friends with them proved to be rather difficult. Surprisingly enough, I had a lot in common with Vita Alto and it took me only a little while for her to proclaim me her friend and assure me that she could get me out of whatever mess she wanted. I have no idea if that information is reassuring or not. Her husband Nick Alto took a bit longer, but I managed.

Geoffrey Landgraab was very skeptical of me from the start, saying that I should be cautious of the Alto’s. I should have taken his animosity with them in question, but after a few days, he too assured me that I was his friend, in the middle of the library nonetheless.

Vita Alto: 7
Nick Alto: 11
Geoffrey Landgraab: 14

Note attached to John's assignment:  I regret that this will be my final assignment as I have decided to drop out of spy school.  You may recall that my parents are farmers and I have been helping to support them with my teaching.  Recently they have acquired a large herd of cattle and it appears they may finally be able to make a decent living with their farming, but only if they have help.  So I am returning to my home town to help out on the family farm.  Best of luck to all my fellow students.

John.

How the heck did Hazel befriend Malcolm with just two interactions? It boggles my mind.

I too am floored. Even spamming Erin with Compliment Home and Enthuse About Exercise interactions the best I could do was 12. I seriously have a lot to learn. ;)

If a sim gain some charismatic skill and complete the personable and best friend skill challenge, then she can befriend any sim at 1/2 interactions, even become a best friend at minimum 5 interactions. :)

Whoops! I had forgotten that small detail. It's been a while since I've played anyone Charismatic. :P

She's not Charismatic, but she does have the Observant and Attractive LTRs and has level 4 Charisma. She hasn't completed any of the skill challenges in Sunset Valley either. It was a matter of me doing research and only selecting people I thought she would be compatible with. Sharing traits provides a large boost to the relationship, as does using the Charming Introduction as opposed to simply Friendly. Apparently the Attractive reward was very helpful too. Both Nick and Geoffrey were attracted to her. Finally, I chose interaction for their weight. Snobs get a high relationship boost from compliments, so that's what I used for Susan. I was unsure what to do with Geoffrey, but finally decided on Tell Funny Story since he has the Good Sense of Humour trait.

Yes, I counted all interactions. I used Charming Introduction for all three.
