Or perhaps she's been playing Sims 2, where students could hope to get higher marks by being extra friendly with their instructors at University. 

In any case, she sounds like the sort of challenge Ben might enjoy.  But unless the computer experts hurry up and figure out what's up with that machine of mine, we may never know if Keira would have been an "Oliver girl."

5.  Coline Gramarette, handler - Danielle Haydis

To the staff of the Oliver Spy School:  My name is Coline Gramarette, and I would like to apply to attend your school. 



I am very excited about this opportunity because it will help me to fulfill my childhood dream.  When I was young I watched a movie. I don't remember the title but I remember what it was about. It was about a hero battling an almost unbeatable evil and winning in the end. And the hero won not because of superpowers, but because he was smart and careful. I wanted to be that type of hero. I wanted to be someone that could save the day with nothing more than her wits. I started learning all that I could about these heroes. I read all kinds of books and learned the skills that I thought would be important. I discovered the school by accident. I was browsing the web when I found a small advert for a school of espionage. Naturally, I knew this was the place for me.



Here's a little more information about myself.  I try my best to do a good job on everything I do (Perfectionist), I love to read (Bookworm), I believe in being correct and decorous (Proper), I love to play and have fun (Childish), and I am at my best after dark (Night Owl), so late-night assignments would be right up my alley.  I have a number of skills, including Athletic (1 point), Logic (2 points), Handiness (2 points), Cooking (2 points) and Charisma (3 points).  I'm sure these skills will be very useful to me in my future career as a spy.  I also have the incredible ability to go indefinitely without needing a bathroom break, which should be a valuable quality on stakeouts. 



Coline's Cover Story in Sunset Valley:

Coline always hated Bridgeport. She hated the buildings, the way they loomed like giants about to crush you. She hated the nightclubs, with their loud noises and obnoxious celebrities. She wanted peace and freedom. So when she was old enough, she packed her bags and headed out to Appaloosa Plains. Unfortunately, something went wrong and she accidentally got assigned to the plane headed for Sunset Valley. Coline was only able to save up enough money for a single plane ticket. Now she's staying at Sunset Valley and saving up enough so that she can get the peace and freedom that she wants.

6.  Ezagutza Obsedat, handler - Wiry



Hello, I am Ezagutza Obsedat. You've probably heard of me. Ever since my parents died (murdered), I have craved knowledge, desperately.  I was a wealthy man with nothing to do but learn, and so I have. I want to be a spy simply to collect more knowledge, plain and simple. Nothing is too trivial to know, all knowledge is power.



 I've gained a reputation amongst the towns as a sampler of libraries, I will often blow into town, buy up a house, and stay there for weeks, months, maybe even years. I will read everything they have, pay for all the research going on, and sit in on every special lecture at the schools until the knowledge dries up, then I move on.  You might think my reputation will impair my spying capacity, but that's quite a false proposition, as a primary benefactor of most science and educational facilities, I am welcome almost everywhere. For cases where I am not, I pay out of my own pocket to get in, no amount is too great. My eidetic memory means I will remember almost everything that I see and hear there.



Everyone is interesting, and as long as they are willing to to talk, I am willing to listen. People often WANT to talk to me as much as I want to listen to them. I will ask question after question, patiently letting them explain. Of course, when I meet more obstinately private fellows, I might have to persist a little. Everyone opens up, one way or another. I can also spot a liar rather well, I'm more Observant than I seem, and with more knowledge, eventually nothing can be hidden from me. Alas, I have not yet reached that pinnacle, but I will. I most certainly will.  I have managed to achieve the highest level of logical thinking known to Simkind (level 10 Logic), and as a Fast Learner, I am confident that all skills will soon be mine.  I am also a Genius (naturally), a Perfectionist (also naturally) and exceptionally hard-working (Workaholic).  As a Genie, I have special powers that I am able to use when necessary.  Some might think that my tendency to brood and to check the sink from time to time could be seen as weaknesses, but I prefer to think of those qualities as adding depth and richness to my character.

In short, I would make an excellent spy. I have a reputation that allows me access to the greatest minds of our times, wealth that puts me in exclusive circles, and a taste for knowledge that is unmatched.  When it comes to getting information, no method is too strange, no safe impossible to crack, and "No" is not acceptable.  I will pay for all expenses out of my own pocket, and have enough money stashed in anonymous accounts for when I need it.

Oh, and Why am I dressed in white, you're probably wondering. White is the basic color of all light, and light reveals things. Light reveals all knowledge, nothing can hide from it.  However, since it is not the most practical for avoiding unwanted attention, I have taken on a secondary identity as a drifter looking for work, nobody ever seems to notice that Ezagutza and "Ezra" appear and leave at the same time. "Ezra" always lives at the fire department, he's useful for collecting knowledge from the lower classes, as I have come to realize.

Ezagutza Obsedat is from a line of Genies that got free and hit it big. The wealth he inherited means he never had to work, instead, he wanted to learn. He has a reputation for listening intently, and he's always interested in other people. If you tell him that you're going out for dinner, you can be sure he'll ask where, when, what you want, if you have eaten it before, and whatever else tickles his fancy. Most people find this refreshing and answer his questions without a second thought,he just listens and enjoys it. He travels a lot, giving local libraries what they need, funding research projects, and getting to know the inhabitants. He's honored to come to Sunset Valley, so many distinguished scientists, doctors, and authors have resided here, and he wants to hear about it all.

Instructor's Comments:  What an interesting group of students!  Each one has certain strengths and abilities that should help him/her in mastering spycraft.  But how will they do on their assignments?  We will have to see.  Meantime, Coline and Ezagutza are clearly intended to be teammates - Team Albus (white)!
