I went over to the shop to visit my computer this morning - well, actually, to whine about the withdrawal I'm experiencing at having my Simming computer out of commission for so long. They've been having some difficulty isolating the problem, but it seems that it may have something to do with "raid 0 array." Now we all know, right? Well, of course I had never heard of it but it has something to do with the 1-terabyte hard drive actually being two smaller hard drives and how the two of them interact. At least, I think that's what the guy at the shop was trying to tell me. Anyway, they're going to do something about it - don't ask me what, except they'll be reinstalling Windows which means a reinstall of Sims too. And I think they understand the importance of not losing all my Sims save data - I certainly said it enough times. Sooo ... with any luck, the computer should be home early next week. I hope. And poor Ben can finally get out of prison.
