You're right, Magz - this is incredibly frustrating to me! Patience doesn't come easily to me at the best of times, and when I'm excited about the next few updates - well, it's just frustrating. We came *this close* (fingers a few millimetres apart) to finally seeing the SHU, and now I have to tell everyone to wait two weeks (which will likely turn out to be more like three, I suspect). Oh well. There's nothing that can be done about it. I'm just glad I was able to get my old computer working so I can at least access the forum.
But I might find a good use for the time. Remember the beauty contest we had awhile back, in which members contributed contestants? I've been considering another group-participation idea. This one would probably require more involvement from the participants, in the form of playing their Sim, carrying out certain tasks and writing about them. Without giving away the exact nature of the idea - because it is really very much in the early stages yet - does this sound like something that anyone might be interested in? It obviously isn't going to be happening for some time yet - probably a month or so, because when I get the computer back it's going to take time to finish up the Blood Island series and I have plans for the few episodes after that. So I'm not looking for volunteers at this point, just floating the idea to see if anyone might be interested. If so, I could spend time doing some planning while I'm waiting for Ben's return.
