All of them look innocent, but are they? I don't know who the saboteur can be. I can't wait for Ben to meet them all. ;D

Umm..I think its Plett or Nadrena. I know the other's traits, and I don't think they would do such a thing.
Please tell Ben not to trust them.  ;)

At this point, Ben trusts none of them, and nor should we.  Who knows which of them might have had their traits changed through some devious method known only to Watchers and those skilled in Alchemy?  After all, these people are all Scientists, so working with mysterious chemicals and potions is second nature to them.  ;)

Evil forces are at work behind the scenes.  Who could possibly want to sabotage the water supply, and why?  Motive is important here.

Trusting no one at all. Reminds me of our Mole days.  :P

Oh I think I know the motive but will tell after this mystery is solved. I am amazed by the creativity you show in building, creating scenes, sims and plots in the story. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thank you Anushka, and thank you for your discretion in not sharing your suspicions just yet.  I am hoping this mission will be somewhat suspenseful, so anyone who thinks they know who the guilty party is and what's going on - please consider yourself a button-lip candidate in training and keep your suspicions to yourself.  When all is revealed at the end of the mission, then will be the time for everyone to say "I knew it!"  ;)

I am really impressed by your airplane seats. And envious too, because the Sims get so much more room than we do!

CONRAD! It's Conrad! I can't wait to find out his role in this story. He's one of my favourite Sims!  ;D

Are you suggesting that Conrad is the one causing trouble behind the scenes or are you just excited to see what he's been doing lately because he's one of your favorite Sims?

As usual, another amazing "Schipperke Story" keeping me entertained and looking forward to more!

Sighs.  I KNEW I should have checked in yesterday!  Oh well, missed the first team but I'm volunteering if you ever have another.  You KNOW I can keep a secret!  (UC, lol)  Meanwhile, Mr.I-Am-Just-So-Charming was working his wiles while working?  Shame on you Ben!  It looks like your are earning your reputation.  Gotta feel sorry for him though, getting yelled at by that shrew he works for.

I am impressed by your airplane! This is indeed an intriguing mission, I hope that Ben doesn't get distracted by beauty when he is supposed to be searching for intent!

Meeting the Director, Part I

Diary Entry

According to the file, the scientists assembled in Lucky Palms were the top people in their field, from all over the Sim world.  I knew our own Dr May Bea had been asked to take part in this project, but her work in Monte Vista was too important to allow her to be spared.  "We're counting on you to identify the saboteur, Ben," May had said urgently.  "The Sim world cannot survive without a safe water supply.  Go get 'em, boy!"

Well, I hoped I would be able to identify the saboteur.  The Global Dynamics Science Centre* was on the very outskirts of town, past all the rows of huge billboards advertising consumer goods, right on the edge of the desert - a sharp reminder of what the whole Sim world could look like if the water crisis wasn't solved, and quickly.

It was Sunday morning when I arrived in Lucky Palms.  I knew the scientists would be hard at work, so I went directly to the Science Centre.

As soon as I walked through the front door, I was stopped by the Receptionist, who demanded to know my name and business.

I was pleased to see they had security measures in place and told him my name.  "Yes, the Director is expecting you," he said.  "You'll find him in the experimental gardens - through that door."

I went in the direction the Receptionist had indicated, and found the Director tending a plant.

Gobias Koffi, from Sunset Valley.  He was one of the first-ever Scientists in Sims3, and had a long and distinguished career.  It was he who had contacted our team requesting help.

I introduced myself to him.  "Thank goodness you're here at last!" he exclaimed.  He waved a hand at the plants behind him, "Look at these plants!  Do you know what they are?  Death Flowers!  The team members are all so worried about the danger to the water supply that they're insisting that they each be issued a Death Flower, in case of death by dehydration.  And these are the Scientists who are our best hope for solving the problem!  Can you imagine what would happen if word of the threat to the water supply got out into the general public?  Nothing less than full-scale panic would ensue.  I tell you, you have got to find the saboteur before it's too late!"

Diary Entry Ends.

*Thanks very much to SassySimmer for allowing me to use her Global Dynamics Science Centre in the story!
